Hi friends! Have you ever had one of those days where things just didn’t go as planned? We all have those from time to time, and sometimes we need to slow down, take some deep breaths, and spend some time with Jesus on our mat.
I’m Misty with Christians Do Yoga and today I’m bringing you a gentle flow for when you’ve had a rough day.
Our intention today comes from Luke 12:25-28 (MSG):
“Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can’t even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearance-but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?”
It’s so easy to question God and wonder where He is when we’re going through hard times. I’m here to tell you, friend, that He’s right there alongside you!
He never promised that we wouldn’t have struggles...actually, Jesus told us that we will have troubles...but He does promise over and over in his Word that He’ll be right there with us, and will never leave nor forsake us.
If He cares for the seemingly insignificant things (like wildflowers), He will certainly take care of you, whom He expertly crafted in your mother's womb.
Unroll your mat, grab your favorite essential oil (if you’re into those like I am), and ask God to meet you right where you’re at! Let Him unravel the frustrations and hurts of the day.
