Thanks for the review! I ended up getting the Wotancraft camera bag (6 or 7 liters). It’s slightly less structured than Wandrd, but not that much smaller. I love my bag, but there’s still a big upside with the Wandrd: the contoured padding that curves nicely around the body

Nice review :) I think the single zipper is for optimal water proofing/resistance. When there are two zippers and they meet it creates a little gap that water can easily get through :) I would guess that’s the reason

This is so helpful! A lot of us get stuck between 6L and 9L.. my concern is if itll fit R7 with sigma 18-50 Attached, nifty fufty, dust blower, canon battery charger and lens hood?

I've been looking at this bag but my problem with so many slings is the strap not being long enough to be comfy.. especially if its winter and ive got layerrrrs on.

I've had this bag since it released and im now realizing, after watching newer reviews, that you can basically throw in your airpods max or any flatten out headphones in the laptop sleeve.

I would 100% go for the larger size. If you really need one I think that the 9 L would fit that lens and a body of a camera really well but this one might be just too small.

@ all so I probably won’t be carrying my big lens that I don’t have yet •_• so at the moment I’ve got a fujifilm xt5 and a cannon 35mm film camera that I want to carry as well both with small lenses so I’m struggling to make my mind up

In the pictures showing you wearing the bag it looks like the thin portion of the strap is over your shoulder and the thick, padded, portion is across your chest. Does the wide part of the strap ever go over the shoulder and be more comfortable?

Yes. I prefer to wear it on my chest or my back so it moves a lot but you can adjust it to be anywhere along the strap.

Great review of the bag! You answered all my major questions. Have you carried a camera, lens, and a mini drone in the bag? How well does the padding and waterproofing hold up?

I haven’t carried a drone but I have no doubts that it could while also carrying a camera and spare lens. The padding is great and the water resistance is pretty good as long as the zippers are tightly zipped.

@@ChichBolt I have the Venture Sling 6L which I bought partially as a everyday sling yet also a discrete camera bag. I'm able to fit a mirrorless Fuji with a prime and then another prime quite easily + used a padded divider from another bag so they're not hitting. The good part is, is that its easily the most "doesn't look like a camera bag" and is super slim when it needs to be. The bad part is, is that it lacks padding yet thankfully has a stiff construction so you don't feel the objects. The strap doesn't have any padding either which is why I chose the 6L over the 9L to avoid weight but they have a 10L camera venture sling option. I'm still looking for another small alternative though just so I know my camera gear is protected when it needs to be. The ThinkTank Retrospective 4/5 almost ticks the right boxes aside from velcro flaps.
