My dog passed away this morning, but it was so sudden. She went into our backyard, curled up into a little ball and went to sleep. Typically there are signs of when a dog is reaching its last days but mine had none of them. (Except for some hacking and rapid panting). I feel guilty and ponder that it would have been better if she passed the more typical way giving me time to process it slowly. Unfortunately life doesn’t always work like that and either way I still would have felt sad and wished it had happened another way. She had near perfect health for 12 years but deserved 100 more.

So sorry Deny. 4 years old is so young. My best friend who just turned 8 was diagnosed with terminal cancer out of the clear blue sky. One day running like a maniac...the next day wasn't feeling good. He is now an angel. Devastating. Hardest thing ever. I hope one day to not break down in tears at any given moment...&^%%$!!!! Sucks!!!

Its been a couple hours now that today we left our dog in my sisters friends house and I can tell you that it is the hardest thing for me and I only have him for a year and a half. I miss my dogs fluffy face and body and we are only leaving him for 5 DAYS. I can imagine how challenging it would be when its time for my dog to go. I watched this video back then when it first came back and I never forgot it. It has always been the saddest video I have seen so I always remembered it. These 5 days that I am going on a vacation is going to be really tough because I will miss my dog sleeping with me.
