I would like to say that you have given the essential keys of jazz that every jazz piano player should know
@philipkraker49115 жыл бұрын
Just in this one lesson, you have answered almost every question I have wondered how to play - and I am just shy of 70. I had no one to ever show me and I never knew anyone as talented as you are to hire. You play with such a deep feeling, that, many times, I would rather listen to one of your lessons than to play any of my extensive record collection. I can’t thank you enough for your gifts to me for they both console and uplift me time and again, German. BTW, often, your English is far better than mine and I am often chided by friends and acquaintances for using a five dollar word, when a fifty cent word would do God bless you, Berliner - and thank you.
@petershaw804 жыл бұрын
You are clearly one helluva good piano player. You hide your skills behind your modesty but you are very good at communicating quite technical attributes which appeal to the average, but keen, aspirer to better things. I, among many, appreciate your efforts and learn from them. Love your humour.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, skills and sense of humour! As an "introduction," I am truly daunted, and humbled, by the depth of knowledge needed to begin to understand what is going on in this tutorial. As a "wanna-be player" of nearly 40 year's classical trained playing (show me the notes and I'll try to remember them), playing in this way is almost like starting again - fortunately I have a good (-ish) grasp of chords. And yet, you make the effort worthwhile in the way you explain and make us laugh along with you.

Take care Brother Christian.

No, it's actually all downloads! (please read "read first" top of shop). Could you please let me know, why you thought it's physical items? So I can improve my in-shop communication. Thanks!
@PeterBranstrup Жыл бұрын
@@ChristianFuchsBlues Dear Master Christian. Please carry on with me - I am a technology “stone age man”. I should have read first, but were so excited and rush directly to the shop and begin shopping immediately. Got confused because I should give my address and thought that you would sent the masterpieces by traditional mail. Oh no, if you sent it by physical mail, I will receive my sheets in February or so. Yes yes, I know I am an online retardo 🙄 Everything went so smoothly and luckily you received Visa-card payment. I could afford 3 of your masterpieces and yesterday I printed them out. Two of each. One for storage and one for making notes on. Your web shop doesn’t need any improvement, but if you are up against a true knucklehead, problems will be inevitable 😅 For the actual sheets….. True German quality. Just looking good and every detail is in the finest order. I have dived into Autumn Leaves. So satisfying to play, it is like the tones cannot be in any other way. An example of when music is perfect. It is challenging for me, but a great one and even though it will take me months to master, I love the journey and the small progress. It is not for everyone to be Ray Charles, Ludwig van Beethoven, Jerry Lee Lewis, C. Fuchs or D. Ellington 💥 Brother Peter is over and out, I have some important piano practicing to do. Thanks for the sheets and I would definitely visit your web shop soon again - This time much better prepared 😜

Look again, many of these chords sound scary, but are actually very simple patterns. All my life I have only played primitive music by ear, but recognise these which I now find have technical names! At last we have a tutor who can teach us something we can play instead of just dazzling us with expertise and leaving us demoralised. Thanks Doc.

If there are enough requests for that I can also leave you demoralised here and there..:-)

We need musicians like you who are willing to learn what music structure really is. I am a musician of over 50 years and I just went back and refreshed my knowledge of Flight of the Bumblebee. Learn your scales. I repeat, LEARN YOUR SCALES! Once you know what belongs where you will sit back a year from now and the entire piano or keyboard will look totally different to you. Instead of the the board just looking like black and white keys, you will see chords.
