A beautiful and well crafted lesson. Thank you. This is going to be a lot of fun, but I’m still working on the Otis Spann lessons, and the Pinetop, and the improv series. You are working so hard, I hope you’re enjoying it as you say you are, and are taking care of yourself.

Danke für die tolle Erklärung. Seit fast 2 Jahren versuche ich singende Keyboarderin zu werden. Doch es ist meist schwierig gute Vorlage zu finden. Leider habe ich weder von Noten noch von Akkorden viel Ahnung. Deine Videos helfen mir sehr.

Thanks for a great arrangement. This is a real fun song I recall from my past but never dreamt that I could learn to play it. I am a couple of years into retirement and learning to play piano again (learned classical as a youngster), primarily blues, pretty much learning from you Christian. I admit that I was originally going to buy the sheet music but wanted to see if I could figure it out from the video alone and memorize it as a mental exercise - I do buy your sheet music for other arrangements ; ). The tricky part for me was some of the timing but was able to get it using the slo-mo playback. Anyways, I am impressed by so much of your content that makes it motivating and enjoyable for us older blues fans to enjoy this genre of music by actually being able to play it, not just listen. You are a gift to music.

Do you have any tips on how you maybe could get some more ups and downs, or you know make it feel alive. I haven't really been playing piano for too long, so I don't know the exact terms for everything.
@ChristianFuchsBlues5 жыл бұрын
Hey Willliam! Two main things. Of course you must know a handful of licks that sound funky. I might make a video on that one soon. 2) Its often the student who doesnt play "lively", cause he doesnt dare to play dynamic. To properly hit the notes where they need to be hit. Listen to some good people playing it and watch how they play and not just WHAT they play. Licks and scales are one side. The other side is your own head! :;-)
