Cunningham STILL doesn't get his proper billing aside Carpenter, Hooper, and Craven in the horror pantheon. Hopefully his work will be re-evaluated for its true worth. DeepStar Six is one of the most fun creature features you can find this side of a jittery 1950s giant bug on a bender. Great video, Christian.

Nice look at this new release Christian! I actually watched the DVD back in the summer and I'm pretty sure this new transfer is gonna blow that dvd away and I bet seeing this film all cleaned up and in HD will make people appreciate this film a lot more. Enjoyed the video and will be picking up this release at some point.

This was a great VHS find and over-rental back when I saw it in the rental store back around 1990. I think it suffers from premiering with the likes of Leviathan and The Abyss at the same time. Folks should not sleep on it. That great cover actually has a great accompanying scene with it!
