Great discussion on mental health. We need a lot more such discussions to normalise seeking therapy so that more people can seek professional counselling and know it is okay to pray about an issue and still talk it out with a professional.

Man this spoke to me, you know I drink cause my life's so stressing , everyday i have to throw a smile but when I'm home I'm wondering why I'm i here , its a question nobody knows I ask wanting my life not knowing how its cost me everything . Thank you Precious for speaking to us men , i relate to you, i also had post depression where I have a mental state with anxiety taking medication just to sleep which is really hard to get by daily with its society . I can relate to your story...at some point in my life I went through a very difficult season and I used to take alcohol because I was in so much pain. Unfortunately, at that time....the "let us Pray about it" was not really helpful at that particular moment....this went on for some time....but God was still working in the background because I was able to get out of this bondage. It took time though and I found someone to talk to. If you can get a fellow Christian Man whom you can share with especially on those difficult days.... eventually the holy spirit teaches you how to handle the difficult days and or lead you to someone you can talk to regularly. Just to ease your mental load and or burden and you can face the next day feeling a little bit better and less burdened.
