I have a different perspective about the extended dating. Some start the relationship pretty early in life e.g. in high school or 1st year of campus. So the 6,7,8 years are justifiable in such a context. You will find that they are actually in a serious commitment and are working towards marriage.

You guys look lovelyyy! I agree with everything you've said. ✅ Glad I'm a Christian coz in the world there are no rules. People literally say things like "weve been together 20 years, married for 3 🤯

It goes longer because of sunken cost fallacy. ‘I’ve put in too much time, energy and money to give up’. The years roll on but it’s better to leave early and find your person.

Part ya wedding shouldn't be a big issue though. Today people are having small weddings within their means and have also seen churches do mass weddings and cater for everything apart from what you'll wear and rings. Also, the church is willing to hold weddings on Sunday after church vile Rev.amesema🤗🙌

okay let me keep it real man at least from my side . Our generation fears commitment & many from my peer groups from majority i know in my 30s & campus boys who are around 20s grew up with absent fathers in single mother households so how do we expect our generation who never saw what a marriage is with dads who gives babies with every lady who they never even saw since birth to marry. Then lastly their from poor backgrounds with no jobs so they wonder how can they raise a baby peniless. So dating nowadays ni sex tu manze which is unfortunate otherwise it's your man Benjamin Simba . The time to marry is if we know i can support the lady financially for life & our children other than that there's no point of dating with no goal to marry.

Dating for 8 years what exactly are you learning about each others? Even a doctor who studies a human body does not take 8 years to get a degree yawa!

Ruto Administration increased the cost of marriage to Kshs. 50,000. This will soon be a reason for people to just do the traditional wedding without formalizing it with the Government of Kenya. Not my portion though!

I wouldn't date a man for A DAY if he doesn't know what he wants. A year and a half is too long for me. Friendship is the time for data collection. ✌️
