This is excellent brother. It’s been extremely helpful for me talking with a grief counselor since my mom passed. The counselor really helped me focus on the effects of also being her caregiver. Having PTSD and grief can be especially difficult. Every step of the way the Lord is ever present. Thank you for talking about this in such a sensible way.

Terri - my heart goes out to you as you walk this road of grief. One thing that has encouraged me is God's care for us - if a sparrow falls to the ground and our Heavenly Father is aware of that, He is aware of all you face in life. This is so good! I work with kids who have trauma heavy backgrounds, and it definitely informs their brain development and how they respond in stressful situations etc and I keep that in mind when dealing with unfavorable behavior, if anything understanding some psychology has helped me have more compassion and patience with them. Praise God he desires mercy and knows where every person is at, and what every person's brain has been and is going through.

My brain wasn't completely awake and caffeinated when I commented this morning so "thank you" was all I could get out 🤣 But I wanted to say that learning about neurodivergence has been very helpful for me. I'm excited for you that you're going into psychology. It'll be good to hear more of what you have to say. It's sad and dangerous that the Christian community puts psychology down so much. They don't know grace. Self-love (or as I prefer "self-compassion") is so important, but they act like self-love will lead to narcissism when in reality, I've learned, that narcissism is self-hatred at the core. Thanks, again! ❤

I agree plus there is a lot of variety within the field of psychology like carl Jung and bf skinner were very different from each other for example like with any field.

I am really trying to cope with all my brothers and sisters dying and why I am still here. I can't understand why I am still here because I am the youngest I guess so I guess this is my punishment I don't know. Maybe I will figure this out but I'm not sure.

Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement in this time of my life. I hope I can figure out why I am still here because I am not really sure what I am doing anymore I just hope and pray that God will help me with this hard challenge. I never dreamed that I would have to go through this but I am sure there is a reason I will just have to try and figure it out. That's all I can do.
