Check out what Jesus said here: *Mark 10:28-30 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.* Faith is built upon the knowledge of God's Word...so according to your faith, be it done unto you.

@@faith4today I'm familiar with that verse...and I know it works...but it has nothing to do with prosperity. He gives what we need, in the middle of persecution, just as He did for His disciples. Read the Book of Acts and the letters, read ALL of it. Read also what else Jesus preached about being rich in this World. The fact that He gives what we need, over and over again, if we follow Him, has nothing to do with prosperity. You can't pick one single verse, you need to see the full picture. Even Satan tried to tempt Jesus with scripture. Don't fall for it!

Well said, Whilst I was joyful watching this video that was my main concern that new Christians were being deceived by prosperity gospel. It’s absolutely important to let new Christians know that the Christian life DOES have suffering. Paul was shipwrecked, beaten, and exiled from city, James and the new Christians in Jerusalem faced famine and needed money raised for them, Aquila and Christians in Rome were expelled by Claudius etc… As Christians we will absolutely go through strife, but God will always be there with us, guide us, and stand by us. The Western evangelicals who were spreading the gospel had been too privileged that they forgot that Christians can absolutely struggle despite having strong faith. Let us continue to pray for the Christians there that they may gain correct teaching and continue to grow.

But unfortunately look at that very same church today how divided and corrupt is, and extremely poor spiritually and away from the truth now, this all happened because of the church patriarchs who wanted to control it for power and fame and led the assyrian people astray to this very day, albeit very few know the truth in Christ who separated themselves from that corrupted body to live purely and wholly for Christ.

While the Bible may contain some concepts for prosperity, it should never be the reason, or even one of the reasons, for being Christian and following Christ. If Christ asks us to love Him more than we love our family, then for sure we are to love Him more than the pursuit of wealth, because that distracts us from Christ.

Yes! While I am ecstatic to see more brothers and sisters in Christ in Mongolia I am very saddened by the prosperity teaching. In the article "5 Errors of the Prosperity Gospel" there are 5 theological errors. May God intervene for our brothers and sisters!!! 1. The Abrahamic covenant is a means to material entitlement. 2. Jesus’s atonement extends to the “sin” of material poverty. 3. Christians give in order to gain material compensation from God. 4. Faith is a self-generated spiritual force that leads to prosperity. 5. Prayer is a tool to force God to grant prosperity. In light of Scripture, the prosperity gospel is fundamentally flawed. At bottom, it is a false gospel because of its faulty view of the relationship between God and man. For anyone interested here is a link to the full article. www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/5-errors-of-the-prosperity-gospel/

15:48 To all missionaries, please be sure to tell people that things can absolutely go wrong for a person or a family, even when they are Christians. Christianity is about following Christ's example. That usually means that just like Jesus, they may face lots of adversity and struggles throughout their life. But, God will be with you, and never give you more than you can handle. But, by responding to adversity as Christ did, and as Christ instructs us to, it is in those struggles that one's "character" is forged; character of dignity, and a heart of unconditional love. That is the way of Christ, and that is the Christian journey, and our purpose. It's not about getting things. It's about becoming the person who God desires us to be. For our own sake, and for everyone's sake. God does not give us what we want, but what we need. Even hardships and tough love. But, God builds us up with dignity. And then fills us up with love.

I think the prosperity-gospel narrative was being exaggerated in the documentary for propoganda purposes, and because the Buddhists who object push that narrative. Helping the poor proves God, and I think that is a large portion of what happens there. What we see with Mongolians preaching to each other and worshipping in Spirit and Truth is very beautiful. They even called a few people gathered singing at a guitar circle "like a pop concert" which seemed like they were trying to push a narrative that Christianity is spreading through Mongolia by earthly means; but from what we saw they are genuinely learning Christ and believing. That guy at the tv station was false, yes, but everything else looked very blessed. Much love. Christ be to all.

@@judymckee5992 jesus was a man too, bit unlike the Buddha, he was clearly not fully enlightened. He was prone to anger, like when he overthrew the tables of the money changers in the temple, and he incited the hatred of others like the Pharisees, which ultimately lead to his violent death. His death, which christians believe was somehow "for our sins", would not have been possible if Jesus did not provoke the anger and hatred of the pharisees. If jesus was an all loving god, why provoke beings to hate and execute you to suppposedly save humanity? And apperently his death was not good enough to save us as we have to have faith in him in order to be saved...and what that faith entails varies greatly between sects. Most sects require rituals like baptism to go to heaven. Ultimately we do have to save ourselves, but by removing all craving, which, as Lord Buddha taught, is the origin of this whole mass of suffering. www.buddhanet.net/e-learning/8foldpath.htm

In the Bible Jesus says the earth is stable and can't be moved. We know that not true. That's in Genesis. Jesus also says the sun and moon are the same size. We proved that's not true. Jesus also says the moon is a light like the sun. We proved that's not true. Jesus didn't even know what germs were. So how can God not know anything about the earth and universe he created? He also thought bats were birds and whales were fish. We know that's not true. He didn't know about the ozone layer that protects us from the sun. He didn't know about dinosaurs or the 9 planets in our solar system. So no,Jesus didn't create the universe because he couldn't explain what was in it or how it actually works. Want more, I got more.

I recently had the opportunity to read a number of good books discussing the life and times of Temujin, Genghis Khan. A wise statesman, Genghis also established Mongolian-style democracy that respected the ethnic and cultural diversity of his Empire. ... Laws and directions, referred to as the Great Yasa, defined Mongol behavior. One of the things that I found so amazing is that at the height of his power he send envoys to the centers for every religion known at the time. He requested that the best teachers/scholars/ Masters of each religion come to his Yurt and explain why their religion was the one and only/true religion. After numerous visits and presentations he found that none of the religious leaders could convince him that they had the one religion and he stuck with the Mongol religion of the steppes, Shamanism - The Blue Sky. Interestingly the one religion found more interesting by many Mongols was Christianity, in fact some of his general's became Christians. Yet he truly believed in freedom of religion.

So, how come there are 2.2 billion Christians, 1.8 billion Moslems, over 1 billion Hindus and only 300 million Buddhists worldwide? The 3 largest religions preach a creator God, therefore does your theory or claim really hold?

God is moving. I Praise God that people are hearing Him speak through the Gospel. Faith in Jesus Christ is real. Jesus Christ heals the sick. God hears and answers the prayers of His people. Many of us as Christians have experienced miracles through God hearing and answering our prayers. Although not all answers are miracles God always comes through for His people as long as they will listen to His voice. Obey what He says and leave the consequences with Him. God is faithful and He cannot lie

Lord Jesus Christ is Perfect Love, He had proven this by dying for our sins on the cross.

He died because he provoked the anger of the jews. In order for him to "die for our sins" as you say, the Pharisees and Romans had to commit grave sins of hatred and murder that they wouldn't have committed if he had not provoked them.

The growth of Christianity is not a consequence of 'a hope for prosperity'. In nearly every place in the world where Christianity is growing fastest today it is under tremendous persecution. Christianity's growth is a consequence of the fact it appears to offer something other religions don't. Only those who don't understand the central message of the faith could argue its growth is a hope for prosperity. If true - Christianity's growth is a blessed thing ...

As a Hindu Christianity is backwards crude intolerant filled with bloodshed and teaches contempt and zero responsibility for ones actions.
