I had an opportunity to join a non collegiate sorority and got a strong check in my spirit. I was told to refuse to make any pledges or allegiance to anything that honors greek gods or goddess. I am glad a followed the voice of the spirit and disconnected from any affiliation with such greek organizations. I was seeking friendship and sisterhood. I failed to realize that as a Christian I was already part of the greatest sister/brotherhood. I have no regrets for doing so. Thank God for obeying the voice of the spirit!

Christians are in the best fraternal group but if you read your bible you'll see that we are supposed to be holding each other accountable and support each other which means that we have to be in relationships to help us get deeper and more in depth in our relationship with God so if we don't use those who are fellow Christians to help us go farther into our relationship with God then we don't have a chance of fulfilling that in our spiritual life and the fraternity freemasonry we believe in God we believe the bible we pray to the same God as the God that Christian churches pray to if you read your bible you'll read that we freemasons are talked about in the old testament in two different books so joining the Masonic fraternity we are in fact helping each other in the manner of going deeper with our relationship with God and in the process making each other a better man and if you don't acknowledge us masons as a historical group Christian group then you should stop reading the bible and not believe anything in it plus we all are commanded to love one another but there's nothing commanding us to like each other so in order for you to claim christianity as your faith you must love the freemasons you dont have to agree with everything that we do or have in our philosophy but you are commanded to love us masons more proof about us and the bible connection is biblical everything that we believe and do is 90% straight from the biblical writings and the last 10% is the trade secrets of building monuments such as the temple

I love this message so much! I was a member of a sorority for 5 years before the Lord told me to denounce my membership. It was one of the best decisions of my entire life! I love how you said that all we need as believers is the marking of the Holy Spirit. My identity in CHRIST is enough! He either didnt believe the truth i told him about the Masons and is being deceived or he is aware of what they really are and has accepted it. I can't not even begin to talk the number of close friends I have lost because of my Christian convictions or because of their lack of Christian convictions since they claim to be Christian. And when it comes to the Masons and Eastern Stars many just will not accept that they are not of God and that Christians should not have anything to do with them. Still, it is good that you warned him. Often times so called Christians have a greater desire to please and fit in with the world than they do of trying to please God. Did you know a Holy Bible MUST be present at Lodge meetings, otherwise the meeting cannot go ahead? Did you know that Freemasonry is NOT a religion, but a fraternity? Did you know that "Shriners", a side order of Freemasonry (in other words, their members must be Master Masons in order to be Shriners) have built and maintain 22 hospitals in the USA for the FREE treatment of all children? Did you know that Masonic lodges consist of men who may practice any religion they wish, creating friends and brothers, rather than enemies. Do yourself a favour and think for yourself. Don't let some idiot tell you what's what on face value. Your friends Lodge will have social events. Go to them. Meet the guys and their families. There'll be no pressure on you to join as we are not allowed to "recruit". Anyone wishing to join must approach us. All I'm saying is that you should judge for yourself by experience and not listen to gossip and tittle-tattle. Please feel free to ask me ANYTHING you like. Or better still, ask your friend. Thank you for addressing this topic, as an ex member of a black sorority, one of the common response I get is that, these orgs should be ok because my pastor is in it and this is what I leave them to ponder on regarding spiritual men in leadership King Saul vs King David YHUH Spirit left king Saul after 2 years but left him on the throne for 38 years. What's thats all about? 1. Yahuah can can keep you on His payroll but kick you off Heaven’s roll. He’ll use you to complete His purpose but leave you off His will. Not because you are called means you are chosen. 2. A teaching paradox. To show us how the acts of the flesh vs acts of the Spirit work. Many believe they are operating in the spirit but they are sowing to the flesh. 3. To show that the anointing has nothing to do with what we do for the people but what Yah accepts from us. 4. To show that our obedience is better than sacrifice (offering works to Him). The people wanted a King so Saul was elected, but Yahuaha wanted a servant (after his heart, the people’s choice will always be different from Yah’s choice). 5. To show the people who He calls (the Davids) what not to do when placed in a place of position 6. To teach David the importance of “waiting on Yahusha & being of good cheer). So my Pastors, Leaders, Bishops, and Christian Educators who preach and teach the bible and helped me in my Christian walk are wrong for being a Mason, Eastern Star, or a member of an NPHC Organization? Blacks were not given a choice to be Christian back in the day. However, we have a choice now. If the slaves were not forced to be Christians, many of them would not be part of the Christian religion. Let folks be who they are is all that I am saying. The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob speaks to His children. This subject can be offensive for an individual who truly does not understand the roots of the groups you listed. Even Christianity contains a dark path. I.E. the number of churches that are on each block in the black community, yet these communities suffer greatly-It’s an outrage that such communities are not being changed, despite the high number of people who sow financially into the church. The amount of money can be used to truly build the outdoors of God’s real Kingdom. Sadly, many people continue to commit sins in the name of Christ. It is easy to consider why a person who identifies as Christian would find himself or herself in these groups as most of them offer sisterhood or outreach to the community. Christians are those that have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. They recognize that it is only by his blood and righteousness that they may obtain salvation.
