Tovia Singer a typical Jewish! As a person who lived in Israel for 10 years almost all Jews are like Tovia when it comes to the knowledge of the scriptures. A lot of Christians think Jews to be knowledgeable about the scriptures and their religion but the fact of the matter is “ Jews are not different than the Muslims”. Judaism as of today is the religion of the Rabbis not the religion of the prophets, the same like Islam (the religion of the Shieks, Immams, and muftis). When Christians hear Tovia they get shocked but not me because this was my experience living in the holy land. Moreover, there is no unified one collective understanding of the scriptures when it comes to Judaism. In fact, they don’t agree almost in every thing because each group has different interpretations and understanding. The same can be said when it comes to Islam “everyone has his own interpretation” even on the basics of Islam. God bless Rev. Anthony Rogers with all your family. Tovia thinks he can prevent Christians from using the Talmud to expose the fact that the ancient rabbis recognized certain inconvenient passages were understood to be Messianic, to the embarrassment of modern Judaism and their foolish rejection of Jesus as the Messiah. Of course, he doesn’t read the rest of that chapter, ignores other passages that says it’s Jacob and completely ignores where the prophet intentionally does not directly call them Israel, but instead calling them the house of Jacob in 48. Which is odd. I wonder if Tovia has actually read the Quran. Jews and Christians worship God, albeit with some differences, namely regarding Jesus. Jews don’t acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Messiah(incomplete) whereas Messianic Jews and Christians do acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Messiah(complete). No, he's a smart, well read guy who nevertheless makes some lazy or cheap arguments. A constant problem for apologists is that you can often get away with those arguments for a while because they befuddle people at first. The fact is Jesus never wrote a book called injil and Jesus never used a book called injil to teach the people. But Muhammad confirmed that Christians have a book called injil in the 7th century. How is this possible? So, which book of injil was muhammad having then the book Jesus used or the book his disciples wrote? The fact is Jesus did not leave any book behind. But his disciples did write letters and left them behind which the Church compiled them in the Bible and used them as scripture. Try to find this out : 1. Did any historian claim Jesus was given a book by God? 2. Did any Christian ever claim that Jesus left them a book called the Injil? 3. To whom did Jesus give the book the injil to? You won't get positive answers to these 3 questions. Hence Muhammad's claim is a lie. In short the claims of Islam is made up of lies

I just don't understand how christians believe Jesus was the messiah, he didn't do anything the messiah was supposed to do and say he conquered death and he was sinless all these things which don't even matter or make a difference. As a Jew it's pretty easy to see the messiah HASN'T come and a bunch of false/failed messiah's came. The only thing from my understanding that holds a christian is that THEY BELIEVE they are saved ( not sure from what as we dont view it the same way ) it's kind of like those fake pills that were said to heal people. You guys pick on Tovia Singer so much but there are more more scholarly men who destroy the christian position. I've tried to sit down with pastors and priests yet none would go over a lot of positions. Would you anthony rogers be able to look at these documents and rebuttal them?

Rabbi is 100% on the money. Xtianity chooses not to see the truth. Instead the cling to idolatry. God says in Tanakh that eventually xtians muslims and the rest of the gentiles will awaken to the truth and turn to jews for the truth. The is a major theme spoken by the prophets about the future. Isaiah, Jeremiyah, Chzekiel Dani'el ( not a prophet actually) Amos, Malachi, Zechariyah....
