I’ve done this and most recently found my prayer journal and praised God for many answered prayers!

This podcast was just what I needed! Here are my plans to implement: 1. Create a daily Prayer Journal in my google drive and type in a prayer since my typing is faster and better than my writing! 2. Use prayer as an evangelistic tool by asking people if they would like me to pray with them about specific needs, then follow up and record in the journal. Keep requests private unless they ask for them to be shared. Praise the Lord for our pastor who leads us to more prayer in 2025! James 5:16 states, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much".

Thank you for the practical ways we can start or improve our prayers. I need to add more praise time. I love writing down specific petitions and being encouraged when I can highlight or put a star next to answered prayer (and see how His way was even bigger than what I prayed for)

I've challenged my two boys to take this commitment and will be doing it alongside them every day for the next year!

Great plan for the new year. Prayer is so important to the believer and God. May 2025 be the year of prayer.

Amen. We need to pray more. We don't know which way our lives will go or our nation but he does. I'll pray for this ministry as well for a fruitful year!

Great video. I have been planning a theme of prayer for 2025 in our church. I agree your points in this video.

I am going to apply some of these especially adding much more praise prayers without praying for petitions.

2025 can be a year of prayer and renewal! Perhaps Pastor’s most important suggestion is scheduling time for prayer. It’s so easy to fill our time with trivialities. Scheduling time and protecting that time is an essential step toward a deeper relationship with God.

This is such a powerful and timely message.This challenge not only invites spiritual growth but also fosters a deeper sense of community and reflection. In a world that often feels increasingly divided and distracted, this call to pause and reconnect with our faith is incredibly needed. Thank you for sharing such an inspiring vision!

I pray when I wake up and throughout the day, starting with the Lord’s Prayer and during the day usually for help getting my work completed for my employers and thanking Him for giving me strength, others at my factory probably think I’m talking to myself or have an earbud in and am on the phone but it’s myself praying to God, my prayers usually consist of the same requests of watching over my family and those in need, his children in Israel, our nation, our fighting forces etc, also I try not to ramble , never written my prayers down I will try that, thank you Pastor!

I am going to give this a shot, but I am notoriously poor at establishing a routine at anything. 😊

We have no problem eating or drinking..etc. When we see praying is as needful as those things that keep our physical body alive and nourished, for our spiritual well-being, we might not think it as optional.
@MarkJones-yo4be18 күн бұрын
Sounds like an excuse, and I think you can establish this routine. Victory awaits.

keeping a record of your answered requests also can encourage you to keep it up and keep the endurance/discipline to pray and journal your prayers. Noting the date beside each answered request really helped me over the past few years and encourages me daily flipping through all He has done.

Just another religious box for people to ✅ off here…blah blah blah. These guys make this thing so hard…
@stephanieodom881318 күн бұрын
Praising and petitioning the Lord isn’t a “checking the box” thing. It’s a privilege as His child to get to come boldly to His thrown and praise Him, and ask things of Him.

@ I agree with you 100% , that’s not what I’m talking about. He doesn’t present it this way he presents it as more work to do , it’s intentional as these pastors are taught to keep people busy. The fact that he calls not praying the “#1 sin of the church” proves my point , Im pretty sure there’s zero Bible for that claim.
