I have never heard a pastor address this! this is amazing 👏🏾 he speaks truth, many women don't know how to dress modestly. When I recommitted my life to Christ I was convicted about my attire. I no longer had the desire to wear revealing clothing and that doesn't mean we women shouldn't look cute, we can, while still being modest. Honestly, I was in complete culture shock when I started going to churches here in the US. In my country we hold the house of worship with very high reverence for the Lord. We even have "special" Sunday attire which is usually our most modest attire for church, anything less is disrespectful to the Lord because he is HOLY and we are in his presence. But here, I've seen crop tops, see through tops, leggins, pants so tights til camel toes are crying out, skirts so short you can literally see everything when those women cross their legs. I think many are failing to understand that we don't go to church for attention, we simply go to worship the LORD and fellowship with others.
@JamesSmith-jq6om2 жыл бұрын
The church that I had been going to for a little over 2 years until just recently can stand to be set straight on this subject. After happening upon a car washing event that I knew nothing about ahead of time that they were having at the car dealership I went to make my car payment too,I was rather appalled to see that every female,all young ladies about late teens to mid 20s,roughly,were all out there in far from modest summer attire, about a handful of them bearing about 95% flesh,or maybe a little more. Some were letting one guy spray them down with a hose and one was even walking and strutting around in a manner that very much could be sexually appealing to men-or women that are drawn to that too. But the point being is,this Christian church was unreservedly condoning immodesty and allowing these beautiful people to totally disrespect themselves and others who want to guard their eyes and allowing unbiblical things to be done on that car lot that I'm here to tell you did not do a thing to lead anyone to Christ. That is not witnessing for him. I have not since been back to that church.
@JamesSmith-jq6om2 жыл бұрын
No I certainly would find it hard to believe anyone was led to Christ on that car lot that day. It's more likely they might have led to a few proposed dates or inquiries on what they were doing that night. Which happened to be on a Saturday.

The rule is to dress modestly and not sensual. Let your whole being glorify God. Of all this your heart is of upmost importance. If you have the dress code down pat and you're a hateful, greedy, lying, gossiping, ect person the clothes aren't helping you. You are in sin. I grew up in Pentecost church, the dress code always down pat, but they were mean as snakes. Pride, gossiping and division always rampant. It’s INTERESTING bc in all actuality, Jeremiah 4:30 can be interpreted in a different way. A lot of Christians look at a woman with a long skirt and the shirt covering her neck and wrist and say that’s a good Christian woman, yet her heart is a heart of stone. A woman SHOULD BE dressed modestly. The more she walks with Christ the more she will grow into her calling. BUT this is exactly what would make a new believer in Christ wearing makeup, leave the church feeling ashamed

The real gospel speaks of an inward transformation rather than an outward conformity. If a woman dresses indecently, it could be an inward issue isn’t right. I will rather listen to a preaching that transforms, rather than conforms. Just because you dress well doesn’t mean that the internal issues of lust, hate, jealousy and disobedience are erased.
@rhondafrederick96102 жыл бұрын
The inward issue is being insecure and wanting to attract attention. Such a woman also enjoys the power she exerts over men to make them desire her. Once a person is in Christ these insecurities have to be dealt with. Women should also realise that they are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and apart from eating right and exercising, they are to ensure that God's temple is respected, not lusted after. Last but not least, mothers need to teach their daughters to keep their doors and windows closed on their temple and not throw their pearls before swine.

@Trocon Langford well yes, its true, outside holiness wont matter to God if someone is not holy inside. It should start in the heart. However, majority of christians today are very rebellious/stubborn saying that, Lord is not looking in the outside appearance but in the heart so they are free to wear any type of clothing, and that is so wrong too. If someone is righteous, godly in the "inside" , it would also reflect in the outside appearance and wearing revealing clothes, make up, fake hair, fake nails for the sake of beauty fashion do not profess godliness..In fact its worldliness. These vanities do not glorify the Holy Almighty One Jesus. A person should be reborn in spirit before he/she can accomplish inside and outside holiness. It should be BOTH for the children of the Most High. not just inside as many people claimed, neither it should be in outside appearance only, because that would be hypocrisy. Peace.

God bless you for your courage to make this video. As a 19 year old young lady, I have be so drawn to God over this past year. And the closer I reach out to him the more I lose desires that meant me no good and that didn't glorify his kingdom. Now that my heart, mind, and soul has been renewed by God's love, goodness and grace. I long for to be more conservative and modest. I find it so beautiful, and I just imagine myself wanting to be wrapped and clothed in his Holy robe. Before I got saved, I was still never the type to show off my body and show a lot of exposed skin. But I did wear tight fitted clothing that emphasized the shape I have at times. From doing so, I received unwanted attention. So knowing now I can no longer be mad at the people that were drawn to me because of it. I had to evaluate myself. And see where I was going wrong not just other people's wrongs. I also want to note as well, especially for the girls and woman who have a curvy body and you know just have a full figured body. That you may still get unwanted attention because of that and no matter what you wear. But to be safe and do good on your part, don't wear clothing that emphasizes and exposes your body and beauty. We are daughters of God and are more valuable than diamonds and pearls. We are so much more than our looks and Godly given features. To put it like this. If you had a diamond in your possession. Would you go and show the whole world that you have a diamond? Most likely not. You would treasure it and keep it safe and hidden for only your eyes and your husband's. So I'm saying you are that diamond. Everyone doesn't have to know or see that you are. Seek God's attention and seek his desires and what he sees in you. Which ultimately is your heart. Though I do believe he looks at your outward attire as well. For the inner reflects what's on the outside. God's standard and parameters are NOT to CONTROL you but to PROTECT YOU! Out of love. God be with you all my brothers and sisters ❤️🙏🏽

No nail polish or makeup, no cornrows or worldly hairstyles, head covered before entering sanctuary, stockings and or tights all year. No open toes, obviously no back out or low cut tops,no arms out and if your skirt happen to kiss the middle of your knees when you sat, somebody would be handing you a cloth for your lap before you can reach in your Bible pocket and get your own (personally embroidered by the mother or the head of the Usher Board!!) Then Kirk Franklin, and the likes of, added a little bop to the typical choir sway. Then they blurred the lines by featuring rappers and mainstream beats to "gospel" music. Next thing I know I can't tell the difference in church music and club!

I am so glad that God has opened my eyes to the hurting truth, now I do not want to look like the world, Glory to God. May we christians be more concerned of pleasing God in all aspect of life like dressing ourselves, I believe He is not happy and is not pleased when we look like the world. We are Godly not wordly, it takes God to speak and convict someone to follow His standands in dressing especially for women. We wanted to be beautiful but we already are because we are made in the image of God, we should not seek validation from people. It is not easy, i have been there but when we learn to accept and love God more, change will come for He just need us to be willing to be changed and He will surely help us. I remember our pastor saying, dont be happy when they say you are sexy for that word should not be for christians, the rootword is sex, it is better if they say you look old fashioned because in the eyes of God you are holy. ❤️ Admire every lady, women who are practicing modesty, God is smiling down to us, you are not alone. ☺️😊❤️

This sect does not believe in the Trinity. Born-again Christians believe in the Trinity. While an important point about modesty is made here, this church has misled people about the Trinity. Notice that his name is nowhere in or about the podcast. Gino Jennings is a well known minister of the Oneness Pentecostal Church. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity as found in the Bible: God in 3 persons. Christ, God the Son, Commander in Chief of the armies of God, humbled himself to be born as a baby, to become flesh. Fully God and fully Man. Jesus did not inherit his title. He already existed when God created the earth as written in Genesis, where God said, "Let us create man in our image." God in 3 persons existed at the beginning: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father was in heaven at Jesus' birth on earth. The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, was sent to us after Jesus ascended to heaven, to remind us here on earth of the things Jesus had told us. The Holy Spirit speaks to each of us differently but always speaks the truth of the Bible as guidance. We thank God the Father for His gift to us of His obedient Son, Jesus Christ. God the Son died on the cross for our sins, the final sacrifice for sin. When we personally accept this gift from God the Father and repent of our sins, we become saved. We have a relationship with God through His Son Jesus. We read His Word, the Bible. We can pray to him at

When people/women and men are correctly taught they will be transformed by a renewed mind. The inside (the mind, the thinking must be changed/and continually renewed first. Teaching done in love and not in condemnation and not by any method of guilt or control. Is profitable.. When the mind and heart are renewed by God, modesty and ALL attributes for living a Godly lifestyle will fall into place, prevail, and manifest themselves in the life of God's people.. What was missing in your sermon was LOVE. Love suffers long... Clean the inside of the cup first in love. Many Blessings and Peace. Minister AA, Pastoral/Christian Counselor,, MSW, PhD.

I totally agree. This pastor condems more than he helps people he is no better than anyone else he is just a sinner in saintly garments needed to be cleaned of his sins and stop judge people
His message is true, but isn't there a passage that says you are to be truthful and teach with love. I'm not as learned as some but you can teach more with love than hate or anger. I'm not saying that he change his teaching just his delivery. You need to reach more than those that play at Christianity. Reach those that wallow in their sin or misdirection daily. There are many that look the part but have the Devil in their heart. They say "praise the Lord" but are full of hate, lust, greed and arrogance. But I like his message. Attacking each other is not the message of Christ, teaching and loving one another in God is.

This message is so true. I remember growing up and having Sunday go to meeting clothes only. All my brothers had suits. Me and my sisters had Sunday dresses for Sundays only, as well as Sunday shoes. Nowadays you can't tell the saints from the aints. You would never go to an interview looking like trash but you'll come into a sacred place looking like a harlot. It doesnt cost much to get one nice Sunday outfit. You can wear it each Sunday and sit on the other side of the church so it's new to that side. LOL. Men ought to hear this message for themselves also. Why can't you have one nice pair of slacks, a clean shirt and a jacket to go over it. There is no excuse. Your outfit reflects your inner self. You would not go to a big social event looking like a tramp. Get yourselves a Sunday Go To Meeting Dress Please. Fix your heart right before the Lord.

Do not cheat oneself. Judge yourself honestly, who are naked in the street between men and women. This sermon is nor for what not there. No fight for the wind. The sermon is for what carrying on to defile the Church with shameful dressing. take a little look in the church, who between men and women dressing naked fashions? Many sermons held before and still are full of warns against lusts including sexual, drunkers, pornography, witches and other. And much rebuke today is for men, not women. Today's corrupted parliaments are establishing laws against men. Women are free walking in the streets with shameful dressings, but no law set against them. They say naked dressings are women rights!!!. But laws are indorsed against men who rap women whose expose themselves with sexual attractive fashions. I'm not supporting raps, but logically i say that it is lawful to sentence men who do evil like raping, but likewise the law ought to be established against women who making traps of naked fashions in the streets even in public offices aimed by satan to snare even unintended men. When you ban drunkers, what about those bars?? OK. If one love min skirt and other shame dressing, this means the heart is still enmity with this word saying "wear moderate dressing" - 1Tim 2:9,10. Whosoever wear moderate dressing while she is doing other evil things, is also not purified in. One good deed is not justify one other evil. The clean cup is so in and outwards - Mathew 23:26. Our sacred inwards is what reveals our outside look. If our hearts are true purified in the blood of Christ through his word, then our true heart circumcision will be witnessed on our outward deeds, in our speech, dressing as word doers or not both men and women - James 1:21,22 and 2:10-12. True heart cleanliness is the deeds of the law of God - Romans 2: 25-29.
I agree with modesty. I don’t wear any makeup and on rare occasion I wear some. What’s wrong with makeup regardless of its non, little or much?
