If people such as yourself have witnessed such distasteful and immoral practices in Christianity, have u ever stopped 2 research the history and origin of Christianity? Not just a simple wiki look up but an actual indepth research in the Roman Catholic Church, Christianity and the truth about the Greeks involvement in the creation of Christianity. I'll give u a hint, research the men Arrius Piso, Serapis Christus and Josephus flavius and I think you'll understand why there's so much immoral behavior attached 2 Christianity. Be well

@@HaYahwarrior That's a really good question! For me, I would say it's a case of not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Many people have definitely twisted the Bible to justify their own horrific ideas, and it makes me really angry that they have done that! As Hans mentioned, in the Bible, we find Jesus frequently opposing the megachurch pastors of his day, the Pharisees. Here's an example (forgive the length of it, I just think it does a great job of showing Jesus' take on things): As Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to dine with him; so He went in and reclined at the table. But the Pharisee was surprised to see that Jesus did not first wash before the meal. “Now then,” said the Lord, “you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. You fools! Did not the One who made the outside make the inside as well? But give as alms the things that are within you, and you will see that everything is clean for you. Woe to you Pharisees! You pay tithes of mint, rue, and every herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former. Woe to you Pharisees! You love the chief seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces. Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without even noticing.” One of the experts in the law told Him, “Teacher, when You say these things, You insult us as well.” “Woe to you as well, experts in the law!” He replied. “You weigh men down with heavy burdens, but you yourselves will not lift a finger to lighten their load."

One of the churches I grew up in was a small little church in Virginia. I remember when they finally said they had to build a new space and upgrade because the congregation and youth ministry had gotten too large. The preacher even said "we will only build the new building with donations. If it takes us a decade, it takes us a decade" --> and sure enough, the pastor was extremely transparent and it took forever to build that new church. "The contractors asked if I wanted stained glass, chandeliers, all these frills... I said I just want comfortable chairs" he'd give little updates like that! He owned a little house out in the country, drove an old car, wore an old suit... a breath of fresh air in a religion that is more and more being consumed by rampant wealth/corruption and hate.

This life we leaving at this moment is pure slavery with out us knowing + we leaving in a dark time sin is all around the world trying to pull us in this demonic life and sadly for most of the population it worked but im here to let you guys know that the truth to happiness is by repent to God ask for forgiveness and and avoid sin. And no it's not by just saying sorry and your saved it's by your actions after you repent to avoid doing sin's so by doing the 2 main things you will see a big improvements in your life you be feeling happy. It's not every body in the church's that be intrested in doing this because they still want to continue too indulge in there sin live and the sad part they belive there saved but there really not like I said before it's not by just repenting to God that the individual will be saved is by the action you do after that will determine your fath. So much people belive that when you just repent to God then your saved then there back on there sin's. that's what sad

What if I told you this bad catholic church was keeping this bible for centuries and it is very possible they manipulated it and now you basically believe on loads of crap?
@AlbertM1702 жыл бұрын
@@OPHANIM98 we would say that despite the despicable track record of the Catholic Church and all that it's guilty of, there is simply no evidence of anything resembling widespread manipulation of the Bible. How do we know that? Cause we have thousands of whole copies and fragments of Biblical New Testament texts from the ancient world (a fragment is any copy of a work that has not fully survived to the modern day, so that even a 249-page copy of a 255-page book still counts as a fragment). Greek texts alone number more than 5,000 with another almost 10,000 in other languages, from Latin to Syriac and Coptic. These documents were all written down when the Christian Church was still very decentralised, long before it had anything even remotely resembling any central authority capable of making uniform manipulation of texts across the Roman Empire. Islam had the Rashidun Caliph Uthman, who was able to create a standard Quran to be used throughout the Islamic world, and then burn any copies that did not agree with what his scholars had created. Christianity had no such person(s) or group(s) that could accomplish anything even remotely similar. Using these original 'pure' copies, we can conclude that the Bible has remained intact, with only about 40 verses in the entire New Testament in question. For the Old Testament, it's even easier. We have the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint. These are copies that are even older than the Christian Church. The Dead Sea Scrolls were about as old as Jesus Himself (give or take a few decades) and the earliest version of the Septuagint about 2 centuries older. The Dead Sea Scrolls contained multiple copies of almost every book of the Old Testament in Hebrew, and had remained undisturbed for almost the entirety of Christian history. The Church cannot manipulate what it doesn't know exists. The Greek Septuagint is so widespread among Jews and Christians that we have too many copies from the ancient world to have been changed uniformly at any point.

I went to a megachurch. We were young newlyweds and we didn't have much money. We had a new baby. The church wanted to build a newer, bigger sanctuary, but they wanted to pay cash. We were exhorted to tithe our gross income (so that God would give us a gross blessing), PLUS give offerings. We gave, and it was difficult. When the sanctuary was done, I was glad we could keep our money now. But then the pastor said, "Now that you know you are capable of giving, you need to keep giving at that amount". And you can be sure: the pastor and the staff all had nice homes, nice cars, nice suits, and nice things. But we felt guilty and materialistic if we spent our money on anything even halfway nice for ourselves. We were doing all our shopping at thrift stores and discount groceries. That was a long time ago. We don't to go church anymore, and our policy is not to give money to people who have MORE than us. We give our money to people who help widows and orphans in 3rd world countries. They truly do need it, and appreciate it.

According to Islamic teaching one has to give 2.5% of his or her excess wealth each year to needy... Six types of people are not entitled like, father, grandfather, son, daughter, mother, and the last category is Family of Prophet (these people, one can give gift) .... The most important ones are ones' relatives like brother, sister, uncle, aunts and the community... Then the poor student who study Islamic teaching and mostly cannot earn enough due to studies...Then so on... So the money received by church must be used in helping poor among church members and in community and not to make the priests more wealthy....

@@nickobryant01 In all my life, there has been no institution as apostate and corrupt as the Catholic church. Putting the pope as "head of the church" undermines the purpose of Christ and His work. No fallible man can speak for Christ but Christ alone. Praising and praying to the saints and angels is a blatant disrespect to God, who demands all glory. The invention of purgatory, apart from not once being mentioned in scripture, undermines the entire purpose of the consequences of sin, and when you remove purgatory from the equation, Catholicism immediately becomes a very hard sell, because Catholicism is presupposed on faith by works, which no matter how much you try to stack up, no good work or ritual or infant baptism or false forgiveness by confessions to priests can earn your way into Heaven as you will always be deemed lacking; the long short is there will never be assurance of salvation by Catholic standards. The Catholics themselves knew this, and is why they had their dissenters exiled and killed. So no, they are not, and never will be the one true church.

People are suffeing for what reason so badly today and not the sinners that are in scripture but still suffer worse makes one see the difference become more factually sad. Reading more of scripture with faith and context is horror of the things approved. yet people back 1000 to 2000 years ago had no other way to live and get pay but by being slaves was the only way they could get food on the table. so God allowed all nations for the gentiles to own and beat them if they don't behave witch makes little sense. "Let the bible guide" them because it was written by men inspired by God right? The writers of the bible were just men like you and I. Just because their identities have been abstracted away and the book is old doesn't mean some divine being orchestrated it....... The bible is nothing more than Jewish origin stories and folklore mixed with some history that have just been taken as fact by it's followers. You're Nigerian so you probably hail from a tribe with it's own creation story and indigenous religious belief system. The entirety of Christianity is akin to your tribe's stories. Certain events in history just took place to cement the Jewish religions as the most valid. And it has been constantly perpetuated and reinforced from generation to generation. Heck, your ancestors were most likely practicing their indigenous religions for thousands of years before seemingly superior slave traders and colonisers came with advanced technology, medicine and a "superior" religion to go with it. Paul Adefarasin, Adeboye, Joshua Selma and many others are just as deluded as the rest of the preachers in the video. If Christianity were to have been swapped out for Hinduism, they'll be preaching on a different side, same goes for you. If you were born deep within Mecca, you'll most likely be a hardcore Muslim and you'll hold your beliefs till you pass. Ideology is no respecter of persons.

I’m Catholic (not a very good one, but I believe… most of the time) my mom actually worked for the church down the street. She basically took care of the priests. Cook for them, clean their offices, took calls. They were all old and lived in poverty conditions. Four guys basically running a church that saw tens of thousands of people on the weekends, and to boot? They help run the school too, with like over a thousand kids. This was and still is a huge Catholic Church in a lower class neighborhood. My mom needed a car, and one of the priest sold it too her because he was getting too old and too tired to drive, an old Saturn with no frills, just air con (literally, just air conditioning) for 100 dollars. It had 50k miles on it it was worth at least 1000 at the time. I remember having a cup of tea and just chilling in Fr. Stan’s office, that man, to me, is a saint. He helped so much with my anxiety and depression. 24/7 these men worked. 3am, someone needed their last rites? Fr. Stan, Luis, Juancho (John), Tom, would show up without fail. Homeless man having a crisis down the street? One would be there. Someone would show up hungry? One of them would feed them. In contrast. My great great uncle’s son was a pastor of a church of his own creation. Had a huge house, drove a Mercedes Benz and had the audacity of saying “the Catholic Church is the whore of the apocalypse”… I wonder if he’s still in prison for running that Ponzi scheme on his “flock”. Luis Serna of “living Zion” or some crap church in San Fernando California. The Catholic Church isn’t perfect (hence the me not being a good Catholic) but, I’ve never met a pastor that lives in poverty or worked as hard as those four guys in funny clothes.

Their hands reached out toward him, and he looked like he was soaking in all of the praise and worship for himself. If they're only feeding themselves, well....they're a parasite, and that fruit is rotten. To the core. New subscriber, James....you're absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to watch more, keep up the awesome work!

As someone who is Christian and forced to be in one of these megachurches (I'm a pastors kid and still to young to move out lol), I can confirm they know exactly what they are doing. It feels like a cult. Its just about money and any of the pastors own beliefs, it kills me since there's so many nice people i know there who genuinely believe like i do but they just donate massive amounts of money just so the top guy can spend it all on materialistic things that contribute nothing to the church
@kevinroylancephotography9437 Жыл бұрын
The exploitation of Christ's teachings for monetary gain is called a priestcraft. These churches mix the gospel of Jesus Christ with the philosophies of men and focus 100% on material gain and nothing on spiritual development and progress. They claim to be Christian but have nothing to do with Christ. Society defines progress and happiness in terms of material gain and priestcrafts latch onto this philosophy and pretend it's how God is and thinks. Christ never had a dime to his name. He told the rich man to sell everything he owned, give it to the poor and live solely off the mercy and providence of God. I'm sorry you're trapped in this life for now. Study it. Write privately about your observations. Save your knowledge for the day when you're able to break free. Look up the Church of Jesus Christ. See if that version of Christianity resonates with you. I've found it to be in alignment with what Christ actually taught.

@@kevinroylancephotography9437 Priesthood as an estate has always been rich and powerful through out history. Christianity is simply going back to its roots in America. My advice is embrace secularism and end this nonsense. Secularism means religion backs out of the social and political activities of the state. If you are a believer you should pay a tax sufficient enough only to keep the sacred places of your religion open and maintained--- I'm not a believer. I don't think there are any gods. BUT. I don't want the beautiful wooden church from the 1800s in my hometown to fall into disrepair. However as things stand churches are allowed to operate as tax-free businesses, which means they can operate outside the rules of commerce. This inevitably draws in bad actors or we could call them what they are.. malicious people.

It pains me to hear of your turmoil. I grew up in megachurches, went to a bible collage that taught the prosperity message, I was once a Zionist Christian, Oh dear Lord I swallowed it all. I’m not particularly religious, but I’ve been raised in the Lutheran Church. I’ve been to mega churches before, and it was beyond alien to me. It just felt very needlessly extravagant for a religion that preaches disconnecting your personal value from material wealth.

I actually experienced this first hand. I was born and raised Catholic, and when I got a bit older I decided to start going to a Christian church because it seemed more fun and upbeat. Then one Sunday, the entire sermon for the day was about giving money to the church, saying things like “If God doesn’t do something powerful in your life after you give us money, we will give you a refund.” I was so brainwashed at first that I thought this message was incredible, and then after a few days, I realized how insane the entire thing was - it felt like they were asking us to test God. I never went back after that.

Now 20 years later that church is everthing to her, her husband and my little sister. There are so many more ways and things they do. Also they are not in a hurry. I never saw poeple believing from one moment to another. They either born into it or desperate to believe in something bigger because somthing traumatic happend or they need forgiveness for something they cant forgive themselves. They give it a chance and Slowly, day by day they believe more and more. And before they know, they believe that if only they dedicate there life a little more and more to it maybe than.... False hope, their only hope and the alternative is hoplesness.. believe me, the people preaching can and WILL DO LITTERALLY EVERYTHING GOD FORBIDS. Worst thing, they just get away with it. While i know, and i see and they know,i know what they do. But there is nothing i can do. Because before you know it they make the people you love, believe you are send by the Devil or possessed by something demonic..😒
