Coach Sides has had a front row seat for the Caitlin Clark show all season. Why has it taken her till now to finally understand the talent of Caitlin Clark and how amazing her passing ability is? Did the coach finally have time to search the internet and see what everyone else has said about Caitlin? Sides sure didn’t talk this way about Clark before the break!

What made coach Bluder great was she realized that she needed to just get out of Caitlin’s way. Bluder recognized what she had and didn’t let her ego get in the way. Shout out to coach and Bluder and hopefully the totally insecure coach Sides can take a back seat and let CC role.

Hey CDS! I usually listen to you at work so you're definitely a part of my day being fantastic. LOL! I'm glad I subbed a month or so ago, I dig your coverage. I think Sides and the Fever higher ups have been paying attention, so that's why we are seeing interviews like this one. She was out here looking like a fool for the first half of the season so I wouldn't be surprised if Sides realized she had to switch it up. Keep being great!

If you watch Dan Dakich’s KZbin channel, you’d find out two things: #1… He’s an objective supporter of Caitlin Clark and criticizes the way the WNBA has handled her, and #2… He speaks regularly with Fever G.M. Lin Dunn. I suspect he’s been quite vocal about Christie Sides to Dunn and we might be seeing the effects of that with this new “fan girl” attitude coming from Sides.

Good that Christy Sides now admits that Caitlin Clark is the most valuable player for Indiana Fever and she is not the problem. I hope Christy Sides now coach the team around Caitlin Clark and allow her to be as herself. But what I am concerned about this coming playoffs run by the Indiana Fever is whether Coach Christy Sides is competent and intelligent enough to prepare and coach the team to achieve that goal. Christy Sides has always been outcoached by the opposing team in every game this season. Another concern is whether Caitlin Clark's teammates can march with her every step on the way to the playoffs.

After being married for 16 years to a very intelligent woman with a very professional job and having a very smart daughter with her I have a better understanding of women. Even the smart ones operate from emotion first. It takes longer for facts and logic to penetrate and for them to embrace these facts. It can be exhausting. They think they want equal treatment until you treat them equally and then they don’t like it. Brutal accountability and a commitment to truth is met with tone policing. My daughter wants to be an engineer and I tell her she needs to learn how to put facts and truth over emotion or she will fail in her endeavors to become an engineer.

I don't think any of us know just how far into the post season that CC can carry the Fever. If they believe. That is what it comes down to and that largely depends on the coach.

I think Sides is a snake. But regardless of what I think, she's the one who needs to learn how to be effective at her job. As a coach, she needs to properly prepare for each opponent by having multiple plans per game. AND, dare I say, how to leverage Clark's ball IQ with less than 60 seconds left in a close game. She's not a tactician and a 4 week Olympics break won't make her one.

This is my take. During games she runs around the sideline like chicken with her head cut and has no poise. She is so worked up I think she loses all objectivity of the flow of the game. She hasn’t coached a game for 3 weeks so her mind has relaxed and she should be able to what CC is. She had better think this- she has 3 of the top 25 and look at the Fever record.

All people are Capable of "Deception". I'll go out on the "Limb". I think Christie Sides is being "Genuine". She has had some "Bad" moments. But at the very core of any competitive Athlete. Is the Learned ability to "Review" your performance , and find an answer to improve. To find a way to win. To improve your Character. To interact with others to "join" together. Christie Sides deserves a chance to "Perform". The truth will come out in time. I think she is adapting, to do Better. That is a key "Trait" that separates Champions from people who can win on any given "Sunny Day" with the Wind at your Back. Christie has "Tripped Up" before , I would like to think that "Poor Performance" cannot survive the "CC Effect"

The absolute 180 she's taken is so jarring and literally unbelievable and feels unnatural. Why is it just now that she's supposedly observing these great traits in Caitlin? Logically: 1) Is she just NOW noticing, and so is commenting on it? If so, what was she seeing prior that we could see? 2) If this is what she saw all along, then why is the first time she sounds so out of character, with her positive and supportive tone? I swear no one asks her tough questions. It's like we all exist in this weird reality where the absolute, bare truth is behind this layer of fakeness. It just creates an odd sense of gaslighting for the rest of us where we have, what feels like to us, are obvious things that should be pointed out/questioned, and it never is, so you feel like you're in the Twilight Zone. I have no regrets about what I said about her in my diss track. None.

Christie has been under a microscope since day one, lots of pressure and hate to deal with. We all grow differently, she has them bonding as a team and is letting Caitlin be Caitlin and the rest of the team is catching up except for Smith who for whatever reason seems disinterested. Biggest improvement has been on Defense, which then turns into fast breaks and points. More work needed on half court offense though, but they are trending up up up, Go Fever Go Christie!
