Her voice has become very heavy, thus harder to control and less fluid especially at her upper belts (D5-Eb5). Her performance of "I have nothing" & "im every woman" with whitney's hologram is obviously pre-recorded track (i really hope she can still sing like that live). Her best belts are Bb4-C#5, and her D5 above depends on her good days, some of them are not supported, but some are still good. She can probably belt some E5 or F5 if she continue to properly belt with her mixed voice. Love me some xtina!

Hector Aceves you'd be delusional to think iits live. im a big fan of Christina, and im very aware of her vocal capability. if one cant properly belt and sustain a D5, how is she going to have a perfect resonant F5/F#5 like she did?

+Songsource You undererstimate her. Christina is fully capable of using a good technique but she keeps on doing "her" way of singing because she's famous for it. In the Whitney performance she actually sang like this because "her" technique would not have been enough.

I agree with Songsource. Nobody is hating on Christina, she obviously has a great amount of talent, but she needs to go to a clinic ASAP. I think if she works with a vocal therapist, she can get her upper belting range back.

as a huge xtina fan, its very obvious most of the big notes, if not the whole performance, was lipped. she has very specifically gestures and movements when she lips. not very obvious to a normal viewer, but anyone who's seen most clips of her singing live will see that the F5 is definitely lipped. That being said, she hit it in the studio, so i have hope

It's NOT live, it was lipped. the quality of her voice is very distinct when it's pre-recorded. And I'm pretty sure 90% of her F's in B2B tour are also lipped; exception being the Understand note. The rest, from F to G, they were all lipped.

PickleJarr You're wrong about Christina's F5 in Back to basics being lipped. The F5s in Nasty naughty boy performances is live. The F5s in What a girl wants is live. The F5, F#5, G5-G#5 in Lady Marmalade performances is live. The F#5 in Makes me wanna pray (Rotterdam, etc) is live. The F#5 in ANOM in Newcastle is live.
