I'm sorry but I have to totally disagree with you guys. She has an amazing voice WE ALL KNOW THAT, but she does not need to do power vocals all the time! The song is a total new direction for her which she always does with every album. People reacted this way when Dirrty came out and it is now considered a CLASSIC ! the video is very modern and has some amazing cinematography. The song is very much of the times and sounds of now something Christina has steered away from for years. I know what a buzz single is. This is the first proper single...it has a video. It has a worldwide release countdown. Buzz singles do not get the proper fanfare. If it was charting well and people were loving it, it would be a smash first single...but because it is mediocre and peoples' reactions are lukewarm at best...suddenly it is a 'buzz' single. I actually like the song. The original beat and intro are genius. I hate the extended rap verse...I could write that...and the last minute being entirely wasted on hoo-hoo-hoos is just that...a waste. Please release the FOLLOW-UP single, Fall In Line, soon! I'm not a hater. I love Christina. But this could have been amazing and is a miss instead.

I’ve been a Christina fan since day one. Mickey Mouse Club, Reflections in 1998, her first album. Xtina has ALWAYS leaned heavily towards hip hop, listens to it a lot in her personal life. Many of the producers she worked with for Stripped, Back to Basics and Bionic (Scott Storch, DJ Premiere, Mark Ronson, MIA, Santigold) are primarily hip hop producers and artists. I was hoping the musical direction she leaned towards was more so hip hop focused than pop driven. Some casual fans may like her pop/ballad songs better, but it doesn’t surprise me at all that she’s now unafraid to focus on making more experimental, hip hop tinged music. I rather her be authentic to herself and succeed or fail doing something different, than making derivative pop music. The music video may not be my thing, but she looks great, and the subtext of this video seems like you guys are shaming her for showing her sexuality and both of your comments are quite ageist. I felt the same way when I first saw the video I was totally surprise and disappointed becoz I love her but not to the point that the same what you voice out guys but I understand its your opinion and how you felt but her other song is great and powerful not only the voice but also the message. Btw I can't say trash or something that disrespectful about her, Her choice her music and I think that is XTINA fierce and bold. I love her. ☮️👍

Remember that Christina is an artist. One of her biggest idols is Madonna shes influenced by its artistry, i dont see any wrong with this video Christina is always changing shes unique and versatile. She can change her image with just a flip of a finger, shes genuine and loves to do exactly whats on her mind. This is just a video, this is her new image its 90's vibe. Back to basic is just too claasy because thats her image that time, to go back to basics inspired by 20's 30's 40's.
