I remember that as well! I actually always think of this whenever I read comments by vocal technique elitists about how pitchy she is. I think people sometimes confuse her crazy vocal acrobatics and key changes for pitch problems but I rarely hear her fall off-key unless she cracks (Just a Fool on the Voice and her 2012 AMA performance being notable exceptions)

Exactly. The average singer can have all the technique in the world, but i've seen very little people do what she does. She's always changing her tone quality from belts to head voice to her low notes and as she does she's able to mantain her pitch with her transitions. The rare times she's had pitch problems, as the ones you mentioned, happened when she was sick with a cold or the flu, which can mess with your ear.

She’s a rare talent that we have the privilege to say she’s our “voice of this generation” past generations had The great Whitney Houston, and Mariah. I can acknowledge the raw vocal talent. But vocal performance is so much more than what Christina gives sometimes. Where's the musicality? The interpretation? Why she searching for notes? Yes, she does a lot. And she does too damn much. I'm sorry. Pulling the mic away to hide thinness at the top is a known coverup. A professional vocalist can control volume without pulling the mic away. Mess...but she does have quality performances, this just isn't one. Again, I say, she has incredible raw vocal talent. Hell I couldn't do the mess she made in this video. But that doesn't excuse her from the tragic waste of brilliant capability. Ok, I'm done, so all you opinion haters can start your trolling now.
