"Hurt" Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face You told me how proud you were but I walked away If only I knew what I know today Ooh ooh I would hold you in my arms I would take the pain away Thank you for all you've done Forgive all your mistakes. There's nothing I wouldn't do To hear your voice again. Sometimes I wanna call you but I know you won't be there Oh, I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do And I've hurt myself by hurting you Some days I feel broke inside but I won't admit Sometimes I just wanna hide 'cause it's you I miss And it's so hard to say goodbye when it comes to this, ooh, whoa Would you tell me I was wrong? Would you help me understand? Are you looking down upon me? Are you proud of who I am? There's nothing I wouldn't do To have just one more chance To look into your eyes and see you looking back Oh, I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do And I've hurt myself, oh, oh, oh. If I had just one more day I would tell you how much that I've missed you since you've been away Oh, it's dangerous It's so out of line To try and turn back time I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do And I've hurt myself by hurting you

I see why christina aguilera is the voice of this generation. This woman possess a very special sound. That special sound doesn't make her THE BEST singer. It's something no other artist has. She's has that spark, that passion in her voice that seperate her from her contemporaries. Watching this video is very heart sinking. You have no choice but to just think and appreciate the good You have wheather it's your father, mother, sister, etc.

***** Oop! I forgot all about Jessica Simpson's music career lol. I feel like the only reason Xtina's overlooked is due her having that Love or Hate quality to her. This song hurts listening too because I am struggling to forgive my parents after mental emotional abuse that has affected me for so long and the physical abuse I experienced from a relative that they left me alone with and failed to protect me. As they age and their health is getting worse I feel guilt for my anger towards them even though the parents and healthy relationship I wanted and dreamed of having will never be. I still long for it and try to move on from the past to what ever our future relationship will be between us for however long I have with them. I know if I don't do this I will have regrets when they are gone I will truly have no one. I hope others who have dealt with this type of situation can find the strength to forgive and move on and show some love and compassion to those around you before its too late and good luck in the year 2022 don't live your life with Regrets

Exshaolinwarrior Aguilera wrote the lyrics in memory of her father. Aguilera said she was sorry because the last musical thing her father heard from her before he passed away was how she hated him for abusing her mother. She never got the chance to say "I'm sorry, I still love you" before he died. The grief caused so much pain that she wrote a song for him telling how she was sorry for blaming him for everything bad that happened in her parents' relationship. (Got this from google because I can’t explain in my own words)

Whenever I hear this song, I would think of my dear wife who passed away because of cancer early this year. I just cannot help weeping for us every day. She is so kind, lovely, brave, considerate and beautiful. I tried my best to save her but failed. We love each other so dearly that I just cannot live without her. I once hurt myself by hurting her. I am so sorry for that. She loves me all her life with all her heart. She told me never to say goodbye and was so unwilling to leave me and our daughter. How could I find her again? My dear Amei, I love you forever and ever.

My own father died on Saturday and we never spoke for almost 2 years. I have always loved this song so very much, but now these words of this song run so deep inside of me. I never got the chance to say I was sory for what I said in the middle of an argument. I said some hurtful words to him, and I wish I could take them all back. I want that chance to tell him I love him and I am sorry. Please let this be a lesson to all of you out there, you may never get that chance to tell your parent that you loved them, and that you never meant it, before they are taken away from you much to soon. It was too late for me to say what I wanted to say to my father. Its not too late for you, please don;t make the same mistake I did. R.I.P James Harris: 5/5/55 - 27/12/2015

Honey, I am a mother of four girls. Part of being a parent is LOVING past hurtful words, anger, even estrangement. Your father loved you and he would not want you to hurt....PERIOD! Forgive yourself, God does. I am sure your father would tell you he did too. And I would like to add, I TRULY believe, that when someone passes each time someone thinks of the departed one with love, God bless that soul. So each time you think of your father with love, he is blessed. Believe it too, feel he is receiving your love...God makes it possible. I will keep you both in my prayers. Peace be with you.

I grew up without a father all my life. No, he did not die, he left my mother when she was pregnant with me. Mom is the only person who raised and supported me all these years. Thank God she is still alive, but after this song I realized how it would be for me to lose the person closest to me and dear to me. I am a 30 year old man with poor English skills. @@paxromana4990You know what is even more sad? to have a dad and no matter what you do you will never do things right, he was very abusive with my mom, my siblings and myself when we were young. Maybe deep inside I want to believe that he loves me in his own way, I understand him because I know that his parents (my grandparents) treat him the same way growing up. I will be 40years old this year and since the first time I saw this vídeo it makes me cry maybe because I would have loved to have a good relationship with my dad and just hear him say to me just 1 time that he was proud of me :( (my english is not the best sorry)

@@gdgm1 I am so sorry about that. You deserve to be loved by your dad and I believe that deep inside he knew he was wrong about treating you this way, I am not justifying his actions tho, what he did was outrageous. My mother turned as against my dad since we were children.It wasn't until we were much older that we realized who the problem was and it wasn't my dad .He was dx with cancer and we all showed up to care for him .He was surprised that we came.All 5 of us left our jobs and came to be there for a whole month at a time when doing particularly badly off and had been bedridden .We had 3 years to give him all our love ,we apologized indirectly for having taken him for granted .He was always so loving and you can tell he never held a grudge.Mum said we had betrayed her by loving him,caring for him or wishing him a happy father's day but we didn't care at that point .We had so much catching up to do .He passed away on easter this year and I still regret the wasted years ,struggle with forgiving myself for the times I ignored him and come here to listen to this song every now and then .There is always an assumption that men are bad and women are victims In relationships however with my own narcissistic mother I know better .I hope for both your sakes that your daughter comes to this realization now that she is in college and more exposed and returns to you .

Every time I listen to this beautiful song brings me down to tears. My dad died of terminal cancer, alone. We did not live together but he always came to visit and was a great dad. About 2 months before he died, he asked me what I wanted for my 15th birthday I said, "Nothing, I just want you to come to see me", he didn't. He committed suicided 1 month before my birthday, alone, I found out he had cancer after he died. The cops found his body... I wished I could have been there, to take care of him, to help him with the pain. He was a great dad, I miss him so much, I am 40 now and still wish I had one more day. Would you help me understand? Are you looking down upon me? Are you proud of who I am? There′s nothing I wouldn′t do To have just one more chance To look into your eyes And see you looking back Ohh I′m sorry for blaming you For everything I just couldn′t do And I′ve hurt myself, ohh If I had just one more day I would tell you how much that I′ve missed you Since you′ve been away Ooh, it′s dangerous It′s so out of line To try and turn back time I′m sorry for blaming you For everything I just couldn′t do And I′ve hurt myself by hurting you

Conrad Fincher Johnny Cash covered Hurt... It wasnt even his song, how can you call a completely different song a rip off of a song he didn't even write?
@mccreezo1027 жыл бұрын
It's not even similar to that song.. what are you guys talking about... Just because 2 songs have the same title it doesn't mean they'll also be similar...
