I am satisfied with this version finally!!! Perfect for the character in my day dream, because this version could be played even in the 19th century. That character in my head happened to have travelled through time and got herself to the year 1891. And I imagine that she is singing this song to the guy she met and fell in love with for the first time in her life during a christmas eve party.

+ZackandFleur The first time through, she actually sings the 'hang a shining star upon the highest bough' lyric as 'until then we'll have to muddle through some how.' Then she sings it as the 'highest bow' line on the repeat. 'Muddle through' was the original lyric as sung by Judy Garland but was later updated to be more cheerful, so Christina Perri is being faithful to the long history of the song by singing both!
