These gorgeous wild cats are mostly from South Africa. They live and thrive in the plains waiting patiently for any prey, but ideally birds. Why birds? They have evolved in a way that their hind limb muscles can send them up to 10-15 feet in the air from a stand still. They accomplish this impressive feat with such speed and precision they can grab a bird out of a passing flock with ease. Sometimes more than one will be knocked out of the air and injured in the process, only leading to easy prey. Not only do they do this consistently and effectively (after all it is one of their main sources of food and one of the most effective hunting methods in their arsenal) but they gracefully float back to their feet as if they hadn't moved much from their original position at all. It is pronounced (Care-ah-Cal) and they are absolutely stunning magnificent animals. I highly recommend anyone that reads this watches videos of them hunting in the wild, you will not be disappointed!!!

Their hissing and baring teeth isn't necessary a sign of aggression like with most cats. Still, those owners are insane people who will prob meet the ER after getting mauled by their 'loved pet.'
