Christina’s DCC Journey | Then & Now

Something I noticed about Christina -- her first year at rookie tryouts, her number was 17. Her second year, her number was 4. Her 3rd year, she wore number 1. Another time, she wore number 7. This means that she was always one of the first ones in line for the tryouts. She woke up early and got there early and got a low number and she was practically the one meeting Phil at the door every year. I think that actually really means something.

I think it was also a wise decision for her to retire rather than be cut from the team, especially as she was the lowest scoring veteran, she would deffo be cut in the next year!

Judy is a huge JERK! Cassie sucked as a DCC cheerleader. She only made it because her mom is the choreographer. Did you watch her screw up her audition rookie year? Anyone else would have been cut! Nepotism certainly came in handy for Cassie!

OMG YES THIS. Where are Jackie, Jaycie, Mia, Jenna? These black queens are literally some of the longest serving show-group stalwart group leaders and for some DAMN REASON they get passed over for filming time and time and time and time again. I never watched this until Covid and to be honest never liked cheerleaders bc I was a college scholarship athlete in three sports and didn’t consider cheerleading a sport and sexiest but I was wrong…these girls are lovely and such hard, talented workers!
