Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

Something I noticed about Christina -- her first year at rookie tryouts, her number was 17. Her second year, her number was 4. Her 3rd year, she wore number 1. Another time, she wore number 7. This means that she was always one of the first ones in line for the tryouts. She woke up early and got there early and got a low number and she was practically the one meeting Phil at the door every year. I think that actually really means something.

Christina has my ultimate respect!! YEARS she put up with Judy's attitude and her constant obvious picking on her. Judy is a huge JERK! Cassie sucked as a DCC cheerleader. She only made it because her mom is the choreographer. Did you watch her screw up her audition rookie year? Anyone else would have been cut! Nepotism certainly came in handy for Cassie!

Judy is a mean girl and so is her daughter that should have never made the team. Cassie was awful and the apple doesn’t fall far. Christina is a sweet soul. So proud of her!

I think it was also a wise decision for her to retire rather than be cut from the team, especially as she was the lowest scoring veteran, she would deffo be cut in the next year!

Shes not a 20 year old. Shes a career woman that had to move on. She had nothing left to prove so the time was right to retire. She will always be an inspiration to new candidates that you dont give up after one or two years.

She was a finalist on season 6 and 10. Made training camp season 9. And was a DCC seasons 12,13 and 14. She really wanted this and tried her best and got it.

OMG YES THIS. Where are Jackie, Jaycie, Mia, Jenna? These black queens are literally some of the longest serving show-group stalwart group leaders and for some DAMN REASON they get passed over for filming time and time and time and time again. I never watched this until Covid and to be honest never liked cheerleaders bc I was a college scholarship athlete in three sports and didn’t consider cheerleading a sport and sexiest but I was wrong…these girls are lovely and such hard, talented workers!
