Yes there is a backstory, this music video ad song was based on the first lesbian vampire literature novel that based around seduction and manupilation hence the whole theme around control and dominance in the mv, seulgi started out as the "bad guy" but as the song furthers in we find out irene was acting as a victim to lure in seulgi like a bait in a spider's web, she's the original mastermind behind everything. But this explanation is just scratching the surface.
