Christina, I love the way your muscular upper body looks in your high neck tanks…show it off, you have worked hard for those beautiful muscles. I wear high neck ribbed tanks all the time…I have straight, angular shoulders and my friends say I look better in spaghetti strap scoop necks, but don’t care, wear what you like, confidence is everything! I am loving the look of crisp shirts on women - so I wear them, too. In pure linen, which is the only fabric bearable in the heat of Sicily where I live. Luckily I like ironing! Most of the time, I am on a pedal bike, so I add shorts - also preferably in linen. Recently I got a super pair of longer pleated shorts in chocolate brown. Not quite bermudas, but a good length for a 70-year-old. I tuck in the shirt or tie it in a knot; then add a belt to dress it up. However, I went for a walk yesterday evening. Put on a cropped striped racer back ribbed top, with white linen wide leg jeans. A guy gave me an appreciative look, nearly falling off his bike 😅

I'm 💯% w/you on razorback tanks〰️esp. paired w/a slightly more voluminous bottom. I'm strictly 🚫cleavage, so I like showing a bit of shoulder & arms instead. Plus, in my hot climate🥵 wearing sleeves can almost be as repugnant as full length pants😂. Soft, drapey fabrication is everything for me year round in sunny 😎SoCal. Battle w/highly structured garments. Tailoring can add to my misery in our extreme climate. 🎉Breathable cottons, moisture wicking sporty/tech fabrics, linen blends, gauzy fabrics, & lots of rayon🎉. Enjoy wearing lightweight denim dresses & chambray shirts, but jeans👖 are not a part of my wardrobe. Once the mercury rises🌡, I can barely tolerate my denim vest🤣. 😊It's mostly skirts/skorts for me from late Spring thru early Fall. Dresses follow next. Followed by some cropped pants〰️shorts for @home🏡 & hiking⛰️. Hem lengths from the bottom of my calf to ankle preferred for going out & about. Straight cut or slightly wide full length trousers can sometimes work. ❤Love a classic button up, but they don't always love my extreme proportions⏳️. Do like knotting open a slouchy button up &/or using a slightly more tailored one as a lightweight shacket over a body-con tank. Long slouchy sleeves suit me best in the heat. And these tops look amazing on you 💯 But I would warn everybody from ordering at flattered… I have done so, now I‘m waiting for my parcel for 2 weeks and nothing has happened… they haven’t even given the parcel to DHL (package hasn’t left their warehouse) and are lying about that and telling me, DHL is collecting parcels to send them to my country in bulk 😂 (I‘m living in Germany). Seems soo chaotic and unprofessional… -100/10, wouldn’t recommend :(

My favourite fabric for summer is viscose - it's breatheable, but also feels cool on the skin and it flows when I walk, creating a draft of air on the skin, which is very useful in the heat.

Once I started getting more muscle definition in my arms, I found myself loving high neck tanks. Its nice to see your hard work from the gym start to show. They look great on you. Also as much as I want to be a tshirt girly I gravitate towards sleeveless tops. Its easier to layer and not overheat in the summer. Plus t-shirts never lay flat when I layer.

I appreciated this video so much! I loved seeing your summer capsule. Great tips and examples of outfits. I’d like to find a pair of white denim and a lighter, looser pair of denim to replace my dark wash. I’ll be hitting up the thrift store soon. Seeing you wear neutrals during the summer with lots of black helps me because I too wear mostly navy and black. 😊

I find loose fitting dresses in woven linen or cotton are the coolest option for summer, better than skirts because they do not necessarily hug the waist as much. And I also use a shirt as a layer to protect from the sun. For the same purpose, I wish someone made unlined jackets in linen or cotton, especially cropped - has anyone seen anything like that?

I agree.❤ Another fabric I like in the summer is a rayon spandex Jersey knit. Cotton poplin is my favorite but it's not as easy to find as I would like. I went to a massive thrift store and looked at all of the button up long sleeve tops And found a white cropped one that is working well for me with my summer dresses. I have a longer one that I tie at the waist to make it cropped. I also found one in a light blue Chambray cotton poplan last year but I had to look at hundreds of tops. It was worth the search though because I don't wear denim jackets in the heat of the summer, only in spring and fall. A few years ago I had a black linen one that I loved but I've lost weight and it's too big I can't make it work anymore.

I dont like summer neither,i just hate it😂 my uniform is a tank/tshirt, a linen or cotton button down and jeans or linen-cotton-mix pants. Now i incorporated a few midi dresses,a tank dress and shirt dresses so i can vary a bit, and the shirt dresses can be worn as a duster,completely open too,love the variety😊 i now noticed the cos dress is the one i have too🤗

Hi try your white jeans with your black or blue buttondown tied at the waist with or without a tank underneath. It might be more wearable than all white. Also you have a great physique but you swamp it with loose/baggy clothes try tight on top with loose on bottom or vice versa. Just suggestions to try but always you do you 😂

Sorry to sound nitpicky but a part of an ad bothered me a bit and as I assume that majority of us here want to be conscious consumers, I would like to shed a light on it. Leather is almost always a byproduct of other industries, especially when we think about mid-tier and lower (meaning not luxury) brands. Leather is a byproduct of meat industry - many ways of treating leather that we know as textures, „grainy” leather and so on, are to remove signs of meat processing. So using an argument of „our leather is a byproduct of other industries” is, in fact, an example of greenwashing. 😊 I am a long time vegetarian, so I understand your wanting to avoid leather products. While I do not eat fish, fowl or meat, I understand that many people do it for actual health & nutrition purposes. 👩‍⚕️Carnivore diets have been proven to erase painful autoimmune symptoms in some people. Keto diets have helped restore memory & clarity for some elderly patients suffering dementia. And, the list goes on & on. 🧐Humans are omnivores. We need to be respectful that different people need different diets to thrive in this life. 👶Babies need plenty of fats & proteins to develop properly. In the animal world, many 🦅creatures🦈 consume other 🐀creatures🐟. There's no shame in them doing that. You can't turn a 🦁lion into a vegan. It's only mega corporate factory farming that is truly evil👿. These soulless enterprises that give nothing of value to the animal's actual quality of life. Historically, Native American populations, hunters, ranchers, & farmers believed in honoring animals in life & also their sacrifice in death. They use all possible parts of it appreciating how these creatures give renewal of life 🔄〰️& even can offer people protection from the elements. I think there is wisdom in these practices. 😉Besides, from an environmental perpespective, many vegan leather items are petroleum based products that also use ☣️chemicals & waste a lot water💧 in production. There's a lot of ♻️greenwashing going on this direction too. We need to think of the earth🌎 too. There is NO perfect solution. They all come w/unfortunate trade-offs. All we can hope to do is to minimize ⬇️ the damage. Each of us are responsible for our own choices. Knowledge & awareness is important, so keep on educating others. I simply urge others not to shame or blame people, esp. not knowing all the reasons they came to their own personal conclusions. Let's remain respectful when others choose differently. Sadly Flattered only go up to size 42 and not 43. It's just so frustrating that so many companies are not size inclusive. So many companies use models that are 5 ft 10 and above. Surely they haven't all got tiny feet. Where do they actually buy their shoes? Luckily shoes like Sambas and Gazelles are unisex so you can buy mens but it would be lovely to be able to shop at sites like this. I think I'd be like a child in a sweetshop!

Love that vintage glamour. You 💯% have an understated glam vibe. 🤔Traditional tailored trousers always make me think of Katharine Hepburn. She had a tendency to balance ⚖️ the masculinity of classic suit pieces w/an ultra feminine blouse. 💝Loved it. 🧐Although the latter is typically too frilly & fussy for me. No bows, fancy yokes, or exaggerated sleeves for this hourglass⏳️. Since also short-waisted, boxiness & excess volume is purposely avoided around my torso. Soft fabrication is always welcomed, esp. in the high heat😰, but I lean in toward body conturing tanks w/a light topper layer. Vests & button ups fill that bill perfectly. 😉Know razorbacks are not to everyone's taste, but I like the sporty fit & coverage. (Also halternecks or boatnecks that allow full bust support w/peek-a-boo shoulders.) Sleeves can be such a killer in Summer, so they definitely need to be soft & loose. I prefer the slim fitting ribbed tank paired w/a more voluminous pleated pant. They worked a treat for a winter vacation in Florida, and are now into their second summer. First time I’ve had summer clothes last/look good for more than one summer! Linen is one fabric that gets better as it gets older, IMO.❤ Hard to find these days, but tropical weight wool is pretty fantastic. I’ve got one great navy double breasted blazer (thrifted) 100% wool, but can definitely be worn in summer !😅

You totally got me into the high neck racerbacks BECAUSE you look so great in them. Prior to that, I was all about the square or v-neck. I like that it gives the opportunity to show skin while having some protection. Definitely have already reached for them on days when I don't want sun

I love your waves too, so it’s not just because it’s straight. (2) Your POSTURE looks great too! I really applaud you. Whatever you’re doing is working. I am in love with these dresses on you, that bustier with the cuffed wider legged jeans and stewpot kitten heels… SO fire! Loving those cropped wide legged/loose light wash jeans on you! Eileen Fisher has a great unlined cotton poplin blazer out that is great for summer. Also, just visited Toronto, and really enjoyed vintage shopping in Kensington Market! And the food was amazing!

By the way, your hair looks really pretty. You look fabulous in all of your wardrobe pieces. I particularly think you look beautiful in the spaghetti strap dress (and it has pockets - a win in my eyes) and the navy poplin skirt. Living in Phoenix, Arizona, linen and cotton are essential. I am also embracing wearing shorts more even though I have imperfections in my legs (I am 67). I just want to be comfortable and at the same time chic. My style for shorts is mostly the Bermuda style. Thanks for your style inspiration.
