I have been going through a storm for the past year and my prayer is that I remain in the perfect will of God. It has been really hard! The pain! The anger! It continues like an never ending echo in my mind. The unimaginable of a brokenness by my enemies has nearly occurred. I have forgiven but the pain is still there. Every day for none ending days, I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to help me in this battle as it is my hardest yet. I pray to fight and not lose my passion for fighting for God. Please keep me prayer as I seek to do the work of God!

Unforgivness, bitterness, strife are as poisonous as venom to your soul, relationship with God and people. It sometimes takes time, prayer and council of others to work thru it. You forgive as a decision first and foremost. The feelings may not follow right away. Forgiveness is a decision not a feeling. Easier said than done, but definitely doable with the help of God, time and taking personal responsibility for the condition of your heart.

Hi Natalia, let me see if I can help. Paul went through trials e.g imprisonment, shipwreck etc. that almost took him out, but he didn’t give up. Although he was focused on getting to the next place of appointment, Rome, God had ministerial work for him in Malta, on the way to Rome. The external storms, like the shipwreck, didn’t destroy him. It’s the internal ‘venom’ that can destroy from within, but Paul shook off the source of that venom, the snake. Consequently, he could minister to the chief’s family and the islanders through healings. This opened a door of restoration of all he had lost in the shipwreck and he could make it to Rome, to fulfill his destiny. For us: We have all been through stormy seasons, Covid etc. but we were not destroyed; we are still here. What could however hinder us fulfilling our purpose is the internal venom of the snake of anger, bitterness, unforgiving attitude, offence, hatred, etc. We have to ‘shake these off’. All the trials and storms we go through are not wasted; they are our ‘Malta ministrations’ on the way to our ‘Rome’. They are the stepping stones to our destiny! We therefore have a choice: Do we allow the toxicity of the venom, i.e. our FEELINGS, to rule our hearts and destroy us and others or do we choose FAITH over our feelings, knowing that all things work together for our good (destiny)? God’s redemptive power has a purpose: It preserves us for destiny fulfilment! WE WALK BY FAITH IN THE REDEMPTIVE POWER & PURPOSE OF GOD, NOT BY FAITH IN THE DESTRUCTIVE POWER OF OUR FEELINGS!🙏🏾

We who are born again, renewed & regenerated by the Holy Spirit....could not have been so-- without the Holy Spirit. We get the Holy Ghost with or without the gift of tongues. Historical narrative in Acts is descriptive. How is it that you make Acts prescriptive when it is largely telling us what happened, and NOT how all believers across time can expect God to work in their life? This kind garbage teaching is going to shipwreck people's faith because you've prescribed for us what to expect. Luke was an objective journalist here. Why would you encourage every Christ-follower to lean into this story with "itching ears" for some esoteric meaning that cannot apply to them in the very way it applied to Paul? You're not Paul.
