I know the story is fictitious but it reminds me of a letter someone wrote in the members magazine when I used to be a member of the Ford Corsair Owners Club here in the UK. Someone had bought a mint low mileage car from the estate sale of an old lady that had owned it from new and would never sell even when she stopped driving. He recommissioned it and got it on the road again. After a short period driving it he described starting to feel very uncomfortable and that he felt he was not alone in the car. Then the bonnet randomly flew up whilst he was driving a while later. No fault found with the bonnet catch. Later the electrics died in the middle of nowhere - he described it literally like pulling a plug out of the wall. Again - no faults found when put through diagnostics. And the final straw was as he described it "fighting with the feeling that someone else was trying to wrench the wheel out of my hand". He decided at that point that the old lady probably still did not wish to pass ownership of the car to anyone else and sold it on. Think I'd have been a bit freaked as well.....

You know what is funny? KZbin's spying on me again. Less than 10 hours ago I was stuck on the road in my 1971 Olds 442 convertible. I kid you not. Now why did they suddenly put this on my "recommended for you" home page when I logged on this morning? Of course, while waiting for my husband to tow me home, I was looking at KZbin on my phone. So that's why I say KZbin is spying on me.

Deon And The Belmonts, "I wonder Why. I think that "Teenager In Love" would have been more appropriate for this scene.
@_NoodlesMedia_3 жыл бұрын
I like, "I Wonder Why" more because he's seeing another girl, this scene is her giving Arnie the silent treatment because the other girl was getting his attention more, so when he apologizes, she gives in but asks why she still puts up with him when he's running around with Leigh, instead of trying to kill him like the other shitters. I was thinking about "Teenager In Love" in this scene the other day and thought it could work as well but then I came to the conclusion I listed above. Both are good songs though!!
