Does the paper have to be folded - or can you use bits and scraps you might have lying around?

I always fold mine to get a crisp edge but you could easily try without. So long as you have a neat edge it should still look great.

I also had this question so was glad to see this! I think folding paper adds bulk but does eliminate any white line if the designs are printed on white paper or if the colored paper has a white paper core. Hmmmm …. Interesting design possibilities … 😊
