I'm pretty proud of what I'm already passing down to my niece and nephew! I've been making art ever since I could hold a crayon, and I'm working on getting my art therapy license. My niece and nephew love making art with me--my little niece draws or colors with me, and my nephew likes to make digital art with me and he's getting into special effects makeup. I'm also severely disabled and use a wheelchair. The kiddos are some of the most loving and accepting kids ever! They are each learning to understand my disability and other disabilities in age-appropriate ways. I couldn't be prouder of my lil angels.

I make these every Christmas and I use the confetti cake mix and the strawberry and spice cake . I also make the ones you do. I use a small cookie scoop and drop them in . I would pass down my grandmothers apple souse recipe.

Oh my god the rage and struggle I had with home ec in middle school...my dad was a cook at a bunch of restaurants when I was a kid so I have always been very comfortable and confident cooking. Which is fine when your teacher doesn't insist that you HAVE to do everything exactly as she says. I had to come in after school to remake my Orange Julius drink (the first 'recipe' we learned) because I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I think she had me tear the Saran wrap about five times because I couldn't get it to tear straight and I was SO MAD AT HER 😂

Just a tip! Put the cookie dough in the freezer for 30-40 minutes and it's so much easier to roll in the sugar!💖

when my uncle was in school they had to take a cooking class and the one recipe that we still make to this day is peanut butter cookies its: 1 c pb 1 c sugar 1 egg. mixed together then rolled into balls and pressed down in a cross-hatch pattern with a fork. then bake at 375 F for 10 minutes.

Something my family passes down is middle names for the females 😅 My mom, aunt, cousin, and I all have the same middle name. I plan on passing it down if I have offspring. Something I personally want to pass down is baking. My Papa passed it to me and now I must carry on the family holiday cookies. One Christmas he sent me a recipe book with the family cookies recipes, hand written. After all the years of baking with him, I earned them (that's what we gotta do to get recipes in my family) and I cried happy tears.

Nice!! I make a version of these. They're soo good!! It's slightly different than yours. Here's the one I do: Any boxed cake mix 1 egg 1 stick of unsalted butter (ROOM TEMP!!) 8 oz cream cheese (ROOM TEMP!!) 1 tsp of vanilla Mix it up and roll it in powdered sugar. Bake for 12 mins on 350. Enjoy!! 😊
