I got this steamer for some of my employees to use (cleaning company). It’s a good little steamer for money, long hose is a big plus, just needs longer power cord as you said. Bonus is I use it on my vehicles!

As far as where you can put the gun, one tip I have for that is leave the handle UP, then you can rest the gun on top and use the handle to support it. Hard to explain but basically the handle being up creates a makeshift holster for the gun.

Ok I’m back after my last post I went back and checked the specs and you are 100% correct. The Costway is much better, I don’t like the fact that it’s bigger however I can excuse that because it holds more fl oz and the cord is longer also just like you said it come with an upholstery tool, it’s gets up to 226 degrees Fahrenheit where as the Wagner stops at 212. I’m bummed but it’s all good thank goodness for returns because that’s exactly what I just requested for! 😂 also on Amazon right now it’s going for $114 bucks where as the Wagner was $145. Thank you for your review because you literally just saved me money and buyers remorse later 👏👍🏽🤗

The Costco is a Pure One XL clone. They run the same price. As far as the Wagner, it can be had for a bit less by giving up some of the attachments most don't use in auto detailing anyway. The Wagner Autoright can be had for $99 + tax shipped which is a significant price reduction and great deal for the home DIYER. None of the steamers are extractors, therefore I suggest getting the lesser cost steamer coupled with a decent Bissell shampoo machine. $250 for both!

Personally, I use a horsehair brush that has a hole built into it or drilled out. Being able to hold the brush and/or use steam through the hole is more effective since I can use them independently. I can really get into the upholstery with the brush with one hand and use the other to blast the steam together or hit a spot with the steam while scrubbing at it with the other hand.

Dang I bought this several months ago and never knew there were extra attachments under the lid. You really helped me.

Try a DA polisher with a 5 or 6 inch Velcro backing plate. Bring a microwave outside by the car you're working on. Put a microfiber or similar bonnet or pad in the microwave after soaking it in water. Pull it out after a couple minutes when it's boiling hot, attach it to the DA, and run it on your pre-sprayed, pre-scrubbed area. Floors, carpets, cloth, and vinyl seats. Might be too hot for leather right out the microwave. You'll probably have to change to a new bonnet frequently after they turn brown and black from absorbing filth. Then for hard surfaces, use a wet dish towel or microfiber towel with the same microwave trick but grab the hot towel by hand with a dry towel or oven mitt, or just some thick gloves and clean the dashboard and surfaces by hand with the boiling hot towel. Don't need any cleaners with superhot towels, just water. You get about 20 seconds of good heat cleaning right out the microwave then you gotta wet and heat the bonnet or towel again. After the hot towel you can go straight to protector on the dash, doors, surfaces and it's done. Or, try this one. Bring an electric kettle. Boil water in the kettle, use it to fill a small hand pump sprayer. Grab your extractor tool hooked to the shop vac. One hand pulls the detail vacuum tool while the other hand sprays boiling water in the vacuum tool's path. If you're using strong, high pH prespray, add a little acidic rinse to your boiling water hand sprayer for professional results. Or u can even use a 1 gal pump sprayer. U can buy good prespray and acidic rinse from jondon, Amazon, eBay. I think jondon has the best bang for the buck if u buy their matrix chemical line w free shipping. Their Grand Slam prespray and 2 or 3 other presprays are just as good as prochem, Chemspec, pros choice, and those other pro brands. The acidic rinse is called all fiber rinse. All the brands sell it. Prespray with a high pH and rinse with the low pH. Follow directions on the label for dilution. Prochem and Chemspec sell on Amazon now too if u got prime that might be better than jondon. Prochem ultrapac trafficlean and ultrapac extreme are two excellent presprays. Grab an acidic fine fabric detergent or shampoo too in case you need to clean a brightly colored and/or fine fabric like a rug with hand dyes. High pH cleaners can dull sensitive colors and fabrics like wool. Mild acid shampoo is safer for delicate fabric sofas, pillows, and oriental rugs. Grab some crystal defoamer also. It's a powder that unclogs your suction hose when you come across a spot that someone previously attempted to clean with dish soap or something else improper. The soap suds come back with a vengeance and clog your suction until you spread some defoamer powder all over the area. Essential chemicals

It's helpful that you stated that it doesn't have the triangle tool for upholstery. I was considering it, but now, I'm going to look for a different product. Thanks!
