Hi from Lancaster, PA ❤️ your 6 card layout. It is the best use of DSP. Thanks. 🤗❤️🤗
@sharonpeck882 жыл бұрын
This is a good reminder that one doesn't need to cover up the entire background paper with DSP but can use it sparingly and still get a classy effect, especially when making them in bulk. I will save the 6 x 6 template to put in my binder notebook with card layouts. I like how you doubled the ribbon around twice with a bow on the one layout with the square on point. The one with 2 strips on the left side reminds me of candles and I like how the big sentiment layers across it. I am in the middle of making Christmas cards now to help save time during the busy season so this video is helpful.

Thank you for such a pretty OSW. I was a little confused as your verbal measurement and blue template show Cut 5 as 2-1/2x2-1/4 which would make the length 6-1/4, however your written measurment is 2-1/4 square. Love the DSP you chose to use...tfs

Thanks so much Linda. I am part of a card ministry at a very large church. We are making 230 cards this year. We're almost done with our needs for this December. I'm in charge of making card kits for the folks to put together. I really like this dsp, and was looking at using it for next year. Since I'm at home in my craft room making kits, the only thing I would add to some of these layouts is an embossing folder design on the 3 3/4 x 5 layer. (I can't resist!) Thank you for your creative and beautiful cards. They always look so lovely. I'm so happy to see Puccini at the beginning of every video.

Yes there are so many variations, embossing folders or an embossed sentiment could add another layer of lovely to these cards.

Great video, Linda! I think on some of those cards, I'd be dry embossing with an embossing folder to add some interest. I will be trying this with this exact DSP, as I have ordered it from my SU demo (I'm in Canada).
