oh my gosh Im glad to be watching this video! I have days like this also, today I lost a stamp I was using , I had to go check on my food , came back and couldnt find the stamp, I found it on the floor, it was a tiny stamp. I got ink on my fingers and messed a card up, smeared the ink, I almost lost it, but I thought of you saying it can be fixed, so I did a little extra punch and covered it up. Im glad yall have days like that also, if yall are a mess sometimes I know it is ok. Can be fixed. you guys are the greatest

I bought a parascoping magnetic tool from the hardware section of the nearest super store. It's been a lifesaver to pick up those dies that love the floor under my craft table. It's got a bright green handle so it's easy to keep up with.

Great cards, Connie. As always, fun and instructive. I have magnets glued to the end of dowels to pick dies up off the floor. I have one at my die cutting station and one at my stamping station, just in case. I've been missing a tiny heart stamp for about 2 years. so frustrating.

Connie you need to go to Harbor Freight and get the magnetic tray thats for mechanics. I always put my dies in it and it has a strong but not to strong magnet, it has been my go to life and die saver for several years now. I do still occasionally get what I call "orphan dies or stamps" but has been much less often. I then have a blank stamp case labeled orphans that I keep them in until I have time to look through all my set and put them where they belong.

Did die stay stuck in cardstock then thrown in trash or put in your cardstock scraps? Also, I found a die that dropped on floor by shining flashlight all around down low, because it was hidden in shadows.

Sorry to hear you’ve lost a die. I hate losing something. I just HAVE to keep looking. Do you have a magnetic bowl? If so look underneath it. That happened to me once. Looked for ages then for some reason I looked underneath the bowl and there it was!!!
