This is going to be fun! I'm thinking Timmy's ephemera pieces will be good since they are also eclectic in nature they will blend right in. Oh I am so excited to see this journal come to life, it has to be a Jolly Santa journal, with the big guy being star of the show. I love your vintage wrapping papers. Thank you for doing the flip through on the altered file folder, Mine is out ready for sewing, but I wasn't sure if I had to sew the cover of the inside journal to have a top loading pocket or a side opening for the big tags. I absolutely adore all the vintage 60’s Christmas wrapping papers, I had so many of those, I bet I still have some squirreled away in my garage, now I gotta go look… lol! Polish Victorian Santa's are blue and German are Green. I was told that in a vintage Santa class for a painted Santa in the mid 80's that I took. Red are English. So that is why our Santa ended up red in America. Just thought I would share what I learned a life time ago. lol. Hope you all have a safe and happy Holiday season

This is not even my fave holiday (Halloween is) but I have loved every journal you have done so far. I have a feeling that this vintage wrapping paper may be the best one of all because it IS so eclectic. The matchy-matchy of kits is fine sometimes but I really enjoy the true junk journal because it's so 'scavenge-y' (new word). There is so much paper already out there so why not use it?

How about for your cover...you get the material you said you wanted to cut each one out and make tags...instead of tags, cut each one out and zig zag sew onto another piece of material for the cover - spacing them out on the front and back. Yes, it’s a knitting needle cap. I got mine in the knitting department at Hobby Lobby. I’ve had good luck with it without a pin. 😁❤️

I have a daily journal (happenings of the day), gratitude journal (write 3 things I’m grateful for each day), reading journal (record what I’ve read, if I liked the author etc), travel journals (write about trips, save tickets & memorabilia), art journals where I glue, collage, paint whatever. Gals with little kids record milestones. Journals can hold pictures, family history or anything else the user likes. And I have some journals from others that I just look through because they make me happy and inspire me. Hope that helps! I have a playlist called Journal with Me that might help too. ❤️

I have a question why do you use so much coffee dyed paper in each journal? You cover each design paper with a coffee color paper is it not considered a junk journal without the coffee dyed paper? Is that why it’s considered a junk journal if you put the coffee day paper? You do have some beautiful, lovely papers I just wonder why they’re always covered with the coffee died? Again I love watching your videos!😘

Just personal preference. You could use white paper if you wanted. I prefer the look of coffee dyed paper for the writing spaces in my journals. 😁❤️

Some Etsy shops will print out the digitals for you. If it doesn’t say so on their shop, you can always message them and ask about it. Doesn’t hurt to ask, right? ❤️
