Great post! My folks taped all these Christmas specials in this year off of WCBS, I do believe (if not, 1984), but did not preserve ANY commercial breaks!!!!! The news bumpers did not reach "Fighting the Frizzies" levels, but at least Mr. Smith made an appearance on them! Plus I found out that ABC made a few program "cuts" for time on this years airing of A Charlie Brown Christmas.... the times they are a changin'......

All CBS except for (Santa Claus Is Coming To Town). Rudolph aired December 3,1985, Charlie Brown and Twas Night Xmas both aired December 4,1985 I won't say Saturday's specials because it's already there, Circus Of The Stars aired December 8,1985 and The Alice In Wonderland TV Movie aired two nights of two parts on December 9,10, 1985.
