Christmas at Bribie Island - Beach Fishing, 4WDing & Bogged 4x4 Recovery

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, hope it was filled with lots of fun and great company. My family spent the day at Ocean Beach, Bribie Island. It was super fun day 4wding on the beach, a refreshing dip, catching waves on the donuts, superb fishing, delicious picnic, 4x4 recoveries and beautiful weather.

Put some aspro clear in your car best thing for blue bottle stings. Pour warm water on sting and then rub tablet on the affected spot and then rinse with more warm water and it’s gone within an hour

You don’t take the aspirin you rub it on the sting after you put water on because the aspirin starts to foam up and gets the little stinging nettles or whatever they are to sit on top of your skin and then you wash them away with warm water

Hey Xavier, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. We use fresh strips of chicken for bait, but worms do great as well. You can normally expect to catch some dart, bream and whiting. Good luck! 👍

Really enjoyed your video, did you get stung by that blue bottle? Can you tell me if anyone can setup for the day with awning and have a bbq anywhere on the beach? That whiting was a ripper! Cheers

Hey mate, thanks for watching ☺️ Yes I got stung by the Blue bottle, but lucky it was dead so the sting wasn't too bad and just irritating. Yeah on the 4x4 stretch of Ocean Beach, you can park up anywhere and set up the bbq picnic, but make sure to stay off the dunes. Hope this helps, thanks for leaving a comment 👍

Hey mate, we don't catch many good sized whiting like this one. So was a big surprised when we caught it. We were using fresh chicken strips for bait. Unfortunately, you can't find a good number and good size pipis at Bribie - You need to travel further north. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😊
