Fishing Sandstone Point at Bribie Island

I've caught many a nice Lizard of the beach south of the jetty at bongaree, wont say exactly where but they were great fish. I'm up north now but I'll always remember the old fellow on his push bike with a trailer coming down, walking out into the water and with half an hour gets a nice jewfish. Saw this on many occassions. I am talking of many years ago though. Like close to 30.

Think I seen the old bloke drifting past banksia or sylvian beach can't remember which one, but he had a 3 wheel bike and was out nearly waist height 😂

Thanks for the kind words, Bevan. It is a Stessco Bowrider 520… has a front cast deck for casting lures but plenty of room out the back for bait fishing too!

On this day we fished the southern side. There is only 0.5-1.5m of water in most of the area at low tide.
