Wondering was the collar not sewn to the vest except in front? very cute bears and I have the pattern and tried to make it out of flannel but that didnt work. It kept fraying to much.

Do a zigzag stitch around the raw edges of the flannel to prevent the edges from unraveling. You can stitch the collar to the vest but the sewing instructions didn't sew it anywhere on the vest. I decided to just stitch it to the front. When you put the vest on the bear you cannot tell that the collar is stitched separately. Happy Thanksgiving. 😍
