We all take care not to show "workings" when using acetate but the pads on the rear of the sentiments show - is that correct?

I thought that too... Perhaps you could just either use the A4 sheet of foam pad and cut it out or if you don't have that then cut out the same shapes out of white cardstock and stick it behind the acetate to make it look good.
