I am so so glad I finally picked up The Story Girl duology this year, I'm just kicking myself for taking so long! Both of these have ended up on my fiction favourites for 2023! Such wonderful stories!

I had never heard of that ereader clamp! Though for me I would somehow lose the remote within two days because that’s what I seem to do with remotes! Very nice book haul. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The African anthology looks really good Chelsea. I got a much shorter collection called No Edges which is also African speculative short stories although a friend said it was more fabulistic which is more me. Love the reading light and the options for different types of glow.

So nice to hear from you! I feel like I held out on the book light for a long time, but I really like it. It's almost exactly like yours. I got one book - Arrow of God by Chinua Achebe. I read Things Fall Apart last year and found No Longer at Ease in a thrift store, so this completes the trilogy.
