We were at the library last night and my upper teen daughter was looking for Christmas books. We had several out and were looking up ratings and spice level. We got to Sleigh Bells Ring and you were the first rating and review on goodreads, as soon as we saw your rating she added it to our pile to check out. @johnsodnc we just add "spice level" to our search, a lot of reviews for new books do include the spice level which is helpful. Goodreads reviews are including that information more and more, especially as people continue to look for clean books.

I'm feeling more festive after listening to your video. My all time favorite is the quick read of Charles Dickens Christmas Carol. I try to read it every season. The Focus on the Family Radio Theatre version is amazing.

I love Christmas stories and I agree that it can be so hard to find good ones. My favorites are Catching Christmas, The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox, and The Bridge by Karen Kingsbury

The Bridge by Karen Kingsbury is a beautiful read very Faith filled with Romance too. Also the Christmas Candle by Max Lucado that is a lovely story about faith forgiveness and hope. 😊

The Mistletoe Countess is one of my favorites! I also love Mimi Matthews "A Holiday by Gaslight." Have you read her books? I think you'd like them. I also love and recommend The Wedding Dress Christmas by Rachel Hauck. It has the plot line of "famous boy, normal girl" like The Bodyguard and Nora Goes Off Script (which I think you like, but those aren't perfectly clean. Hauck is clean.). I"ve added most of the rest of your recommendations to my TBR. Thanks!

I recently read Home for Christmas by Courtney Cole about a girl who goes back in time in Alaska and meets a man who impresses her a clean romance showing the Christmas during World War II 😀 maybe not 5 stars but 4 😀.
