Christmas Bulb Topiary Diy 2018

In this Christmas Bulb Topiary Diy 2018, I show how I take Christmas bulbs of various sizes and glue them together to make 3 beautiful topiaries for my Christmas decor. I show how easy and inexpensive it is to decorate your home for Christmas.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
DecoArt Metallics paint in Pewter from Michaels.
Krylon Foil Metallic Silver spray paint from JoAnns.
Dollar Tree glass candle holder.
2 glass bowls and a glass ice cream container I bought mine from Old Time Pottery.
3 large silver Christmas bulbs in various shapes mine came from Old Time Pottery but you can get yours at Walmart, Dollar Tree.
1 large blue bulb, 2 medium bulbs, one light bulb and one decorative bulb for the top. I purchased mine from Lowe's.
Glue gun and E6000
Brush

You did such a good job on these beauties! I made mine a little bit different due to wind, farm animals (grandkids) and a husband. I carefully drilled out the center of all the plastic and styrofoam ornaments and glue a thin dowel rod down the center. It helped tremendously after the first few came crashing down with a little help. Love your channel and I can’t wait for the next project. ❤️

Absolutely gorgeous, I too like the idea of using glue gun instead of E6000, you can always re use your bulbs. Can't wait for what other ideas you have for Xmas.

These are absolutely gorgeous!!! I decorate in blues, whites and silver for Christmas too! You have great ideas. I picked up 2 of the big, silver galvanized lanterns, like the ones you bought, at Walmart and I think I'm gonna do a nativity in 1 and an angel in the other one as part of my decor on the top of our piano. I would drill a hole in the top larger piece to fit better on 2nd piece, glue would hold better. They turned out pretty. Hobby Lobby with their sale. they are about 20.00 each.

OR ,you could use the plastic balls and drill a hole through the ends so you could insert a wooden dowel. to make them sturdier . Other than that ... What a terrific Idea!

kim johnston I believe that’s what I would do. If you break it down after the holidays like she said that she does, you could sand the nubs off and you wouldn’t have to glue the actual ornaments together.

You could always use a hot knife to remove the nub (where the ring clips in to the top) and either glue them or run a dowel as previously suggested
