To those who are wondering about alcohol, when the cake bakes, any temperature above 40°C causes alcohol to evaporate. All that is left is the dense rum flavour, not the alcohol. And without that density, Plum Cake can't be made at all. Also, if you can - also add caramel flavour and orange peels to it, yum yum
