This is the Catalog from my oldest daughter's first Christmas. We had bouncy Tigger, the baby walker toy, and she had a rocking cow instead of a zebra. Many of these toys were things she got later, mostly 2nd hand, since her grandma owned a children's resale shop. I even worked for her for a bit. These toys bring back so many memories. I was also only 18, so there is a weird crossover of having some similar items as a kid.

7:11 My nephew has a toy like that, though I couldn't tell you if it's the same model or just something similar. If it's like the one he has, it doesn't need an external computer to run, I think they were advertising it more like "it has the power of a computer built-in". I once played a game with him where we'd pick random countries on the globe and it would show us the flag, and we'd try to draw the flags for ourselves. Having a physical toy is definitely a different experience than just looking it up on Google Maps, but if I remember to do so I will ask my brother when he got that toy and how much it cost him.

Some of these toys have been around basically unchanged for a really long time. I'm 48. When I was a kid I played with a "Toss Across" that was left over from when my mother was a kid, so sometime in the late 50's or early 60's. And it looked pretty much just like the one in this catalog.
