Fog of war is definitely nice by focusing your attention on a smaller set of clues, but is also doubles up as instant feedback on whether or not your digits are correct.

38:30 is a prime example of simon not doing sudoku in a sudoku puzzle, too focused on the killer cages to realize a pair he had in a cell was resolved by a digit almost literally next to it

My first fog of war completed without watching the video first. 35 minutes, a couple of errors in bookmarks had me confused for a while, but not as confused as I was when I found the first cage without a total in the corner.🤔. I accidentally found a correct digit based on a wrong conclusion, so had to backtrack and then prove it to myself 3 times before I put it back in again. Have to be as strict on myself as Simon or Mark would be.

FInished in 54:21, i had a hard time understanding the shading rules, thought there might be a shaded domino internally of a cage to provide both shaded cells in just one domino for that cage. Messed up some things, jay for fog not clearing due to logic based on mistakes earlier, not jay finding out where your logic was flawed. Thank you Simon for re-instating the Nori Nori meme, it was getting lost to the background and it was too funny to get lost like that.

my count: 118 “nori nori”s, 4 “nori”s (where he started to say nori nori and stopped after one “nori” OR said “nori” an odd number of times in which case i counted one “nori nori” for each set of two “nori”s and added one to the count of “nori”s). pretty confident in my count (i am an expert in recognizing the word nori as it is my name). but in all seriousness i do think i’m right, i counted twice which meant that i watched the video three times and now it’s midnight 😅
