So cute!!! Now I'm gonna do this with my day of the dead material & make some for my daughter, she'll love them!!! And im gonna add sequined edge instead of the rope... Thank you...

I have made these. Found and bought 12 disk ornaments from Michael's. I did 6 like yours and the other 6 I made into a snow globe. They turned out cute! Just put right side on the inside showing through on the one side and add the snow, then the rope. I used the glittery tiny cut up plastic pieces from D.T. snow. Turned out adorable! Any left over in tact truck pieces I modge podge and then cut out to decorate small candles ect. I also added white paint and highlighted the areas on the tree and truck to look like snow. I found so much of this fabric I'm so happy!

And ur personality is absolutely amazing!!! Just love it!!! Truly enjoyed this and listening to ya. God Bless and thank u!!

I just purchased some silicone finger protectors from Dollar Tree. They were a bit small, especially for my thumb, so I cut a small slit in the back of each one. These things have SAVED my fingers, as I have been making lots of pumpkins! I love this idea... and will go a try to find this fabric!

@Sheila Gravely what nonsense chatter? Are you serious? I think you havent watched many videos cuz i have watched many where i hear their life story before they ever get to the project. This wonderful lady is so much fun. I laugh and still hear whats goin on. Shes a breath of fresh air
@heathermogle93315 жыл бұрын
Instead of disliking move on if anyone doesn’t like the chatter move on, that’s the best thing about videos nobody is forcing you to watch. I love the chatter and longer videos when I craft it keeps me laughing and watching/ listening to possible mistakes so that you can side step those same mistakes. Love these ornaments and your video, Thank you!

This is lovely I wonder if you did one half at a time & before mod podging the fabric when its on if you put cling film over & pull together at the back leaving it tight all over the front, would it leave even edges. Then mod podge the surface when dry. You could also do a bauble that doesn't split in half, put fabric on back to front so you're viewing it from other side, then put some fake snow inside for a little scene. It's lovely as is though. Thank you for sharing.

Found some neat red truck xmas fabric at Joanns on sale, including a patriotic red truck xmas design by Susan Winget. I was thinking of getting some el cheapo small pillows (Walmart?) and making some interchangeable pillow covers. My sewing machine is in storage (long story) and I’m not sure I want to use glue. Hmmmmm.

Thanks for the inspiration! Love these! I have made memorial ornaments with the acetate sheets that go inside but this helped me figure out how to use some wrapping paper with the trucks (I have several different rolls I purchased over the years just for projects) to make something similar, but instead of decoupage, the truck will be inside the ornament. I will try to laminate the trucks back to back in a laminate sheet and see if I can still roll it up to insert it inside the ornament. That way both sides will have a truck on them. Then use the rope around the edge like you did. I'll probably add some faux snow too. Thanks!

Well Missy Southern Girl, you sure make that look darn right easy. I gotta do some these with paper, any tips?
@ThisSouthernGirlCan4 жыл бұрын
Once you cut your paper into circles, if you make a bunch of tiny little cuts all the way around it it’ll help to lay down a little bit flatter and it won’t ripple as bad
