I made my first faux whipped cream on top of a small Santa mug. I used basically the same idea, but I didn't have a styrofoam ball so I used a ribbon cardboard inside the mug, and then I used the thin round slice of styrafoam and it worked just fine. I'm confused because I used the light spackle and even mixed it with white paint to make it smoother, but it wouldn't come out of my piping bag. It was an old one, I don't even remember where I got it from. So, I had to use my finger to push it through the star tip, but I still got a pretty good result, except it's just not high enough. I put real sprinkles on it and dusted it with pumpkin pie spice, so it smells good as well. Thanks for the inspiration. You're so talented, and one of my favorite video crafters. They stay on pretty well by themselves, but you can give it a coat with a clear spray paint sealer that will help them to stay on better

This is cute. I make faux drinks, mainly using Plaster of Paris and my own sprinkles using polymer clay. This is a good alternative if you don't want to use the cup permanently. Thanks for sharing.

It would go on after it is dry. If you spray it while it is still wet, you’ll trap in moisture

Once dried, do you seal it with epoxy?

You do not have to seal it with anything. But if you want to, use a spray sealant, like Krylon triple thick crystal clear glaze

Yes. Wait until it hardens. That way all of the moisture from the inside will evaporate.

Yes you do. If you seal it when it is wet, it would hold the moisture in.

You can spray it on whenever the spackle is dry. Depending on the humidity in your area, it can take a day or so.

Just a tip...you can make your own Sprinkles from clay.There are several how to”s on KZbin. I think the beads are pretty and add sparkle, but they could get expensive. Just a quick tip. Happy Crafting!
