Noooo! Don't use nail polish on anything that goes through your ears! It *will* flake off and you don't want that inside your piercings. Your problem is most likely a nickel allergy so instead buy jewellery findings (I.e. the ear hooks) that are either titanium (pricey but good), surgical (stainless) steel or at the very least, marked as "nickel free".
