You have lovely decorations in Canada and the US. Unfortunately in South Africa we’re in the middle of a heat wave. I would LOVE a white Christmas for a change. We do a really cute tradition with our little ones where I choose them a decoration each year or let them pick and then after Christmas they go in a box and get dates so when they leave home they’ll have w gorgeous set of decorations for their own tree 🎄

I just got my granddaughters Baby First Christmas ordament at Hallmark. It’s super cute and you can put her picture in it so she’ll have that when she’s older and it has a little stand in case she doesn’t wanna hang it. Love it and was only 20.00. 🤷‍♀️ just a suggestion

I know you didn't ask, but my favorite thing that I saw in this video was the "I'd rather be at Hogwarts this Christmas" mug! Also, I've never heard of Christmas crackers! What are they? What is the tradition surrounding them? You mention hats? How are hats involved?

I reeeeally contemplated buying that mug haha. And I guess I didn’t think that they might not be a world-round thing haha! I think they’re mostly a British thing, but I could be wrong! You pull both ends apart (we crisscross with the person sitting next to you at the table) and it “cracks” and inside are some goodies. Usually a folded up paper crown/hat type thing and a Christmas joke, sometimes a little toy 😆 We always have them set on the dinner table and pull them before eating! I’ll have to vlog it when we do them just for you ☺️
