Thank you for saving the kitty. I must tell you the story of my little Giovanni. His mama was a stray who gave birth to her kittens in the garage of someone I knew from volunteering. She needed to find homes for the kittens and I had unexpectedly lost my beloved 5 year old kitty due to an unknown tumor bursting and he bled out internally. I arranged to pick up the kitten in her town and as I was leaving, she called me and told me she thought he had gotten poisoned and was seizing and barely alive after she did CPR. Of course it was after vet hours. I told her I would still take kitty and stay up with him and if he was alive, I would take him to my vet first thing. He seized at least 8 times. I did CPR and pushed air into his little lungs as he wasn’t breathing. I had since learned that the poison was essential oils that were stored in her garage and had been knocked over and broken. The vet said he had less than a 10% chance of living if they gave him everything they had. I spent $1,000 on the little all black kitten that I had only seen once before. My husband thought I was crazy. The next day, though, with the help of his steroids and the other measures, he seemed to have a will to live and fight. We had another 5 year old male cat so had bought a cage for Giovanni to sleep in at night in the living room. In the middle of the night, I heard Giorgio, my adult kitty, let out the loudest sounds I had ever heard from a largely nonverbal cat. I got up and something scurried across my foot and ran into the master bath. Amazingly, it was the kitten, who was wet--obviously, he had been in Giorgio’s mouth! I wasn’t certain if Giorgio liked him or wanted to hurt him. The kitten slept on my chest that night and never spent another night in the cage again. It’s a year and a half later, and he’s the best kitty, along with his long haired black counterpart, Giorgio. The boys were joined in Feb by an exotic calico that is 3/4 Persian. The vet still can’t believe he made it. My husband told me he thought I was crazy for driving 40 miles to pick up a kitten that was all but dead and had been found not breathing, having released his bowels and wet himself. He’s my faithful little lover.

Dear family congratulations on your new fur baby please look at all your plants some are very toxic to cats l speak from experience Swedish ivy is real bad its good to have wheat grass near plants do they don't eat your plants l love a chamber pot especially for plants hope your Thanksgiving was ok .

I was thinking it would work great with mandarin oranges, taking a large needle putting thin red velvet ribbon and poking it through to hang the oranges.

I just did a similar tree to your silver vessel this morning. But mine was flat black, so I added a little Rub and Buff to highlight the detail as there is a little fluting on mine, but the same shape. I just put on clear warm lights ... added a very neutral bird with feathers and surrounded my bottom with clove studded clementines. Mixed nuts remind me of my Dad, who always had his little wooden bowl of nuts with the silver nut cracker laying on top. He passed at 95, but a bowl of nuts is my nod to Daddy every year . I love the blue and white tea cups on the pedestal.

Oh Ms Beverly! I had to let you know that I purchased the two birds(quail) for my mom. Like your mom my mom is German too. She came from a very large family and she was especially close to her sister. They talked on the phone every Sunday at 2 p.m. and if my mom was late or did not answer the phone on time my mom would here it! 😂 Well my Aunt my mom's sister passed away this August and when I watched that video with the birds I thought what a lovely idea! So I bought them as well. Let me tell you they are gorgeous! Bev! So happy about the new addition to your family! So look forward to seeing him in your videos. We have a little dog, Lucy who has been a special part of our lives for 9 years. Two years ago, we adopted a cat also. His name is Fitz and he has made our family complete. Now I must warn you, if your little Pete is anything like our Fitz, he’ll be right in the middle of your decorating before long. I love the lampshade idea. Never would have thought to use it that way. Sometimes I look at what you have and think well I would do this or that and then you end up with something so wonderful and attractive. With your decorating, I suspect you have many things around which could end up to poison your cat so please be careful. I wanted to get one since mine passed away but then there is the Christmas Tree climbing. Thought about getting an older one but then I don't know if it's been taught to deal with glassware and counter tops. I can train a kitten not to go to those places but I can't keep it off of a tree! Please keep the videos coming!

It is absolutely horrible that there are some people that hurt animals of any kind. I had 3 beautiful kitties , a ragdoll, and 2 Birmin kitties. We lost one to a heart defect, and the other two both lived to be 18 yrs old. They were my world. The Ragdoll my Mitten's ❤❤ had to be put down for kidney failure, I was going threw chemo at the time fir cancer and I was a horrible mess. I cried so hard and fir weeks. He was my first kitty and he was my shadow. Then Orion passed about 7 year later of heart failure. I never got another kitty as I developed Asthma and I suffered for all the years I had them. They were so worth it to me❤ Now I have 2 G.S. and a Shih Tzu/Maltese. I love my fur babies. I can't wait to see your new family member. Prayers for him.🙏🏼

I'm so glad Pete found your family. Several years back my family adopted a starving kitty. He only had half of his tail. However within a year of our care he grew his whole tail back. RIP our Buddy. He lived another 6 years. He has his grave under my snowball tree.❤
