Christmas is such a lovely time particularly with young children but let’s all spare a thought for the lonely and those who have very little to celebrate. I’ve actually enquired with my friend from school (she works in a care home) as before the pandemic I would drop parcels and have a cuppa with a few of the residents a company thing really. Me and a couple of friends used to do it. I’m hoping we can again this year. ❤️ it’s the elderly and the little kids that don’t have much that really pull on my heart strings so me and Gary do the toy/ gift drives which I think is a wonderful thing to do so they don’t feel forgotten xxx

Rosie you have impeccable classy taste. I love that you show a mix of budgets, ranging from the splash outs and the affordables from Dunelm and Hobbycraft. I had that cane tree skirt from Dunelm in my basket before seeing this, but it was a click and collect only. Now Ive seen it in your vlog I just thought why not. My tree is just a basic one £70 odd from Mark's but will just make it look more expensive. I love that you do all of that home making with the minis. Your hallway is just out of this world so homely and I adore that green. Once you switch out the doors to wood it will really make it WOW x

We in the middle of a refurb so were not having much decor out this year BOO lol anyway I wanted a couple Balsam Tree's for next year and thanks to you I can see how beautiful they truly are...your home looks so festive Rosie you have all done a beautiful job ..I love all your family ornaments they mean more than any other don't they ? you remind me of my sister her names Rosie too you are both very similar she used to craft lots with her children when they were little she made all their stockings sewn by hand at the time..her boys are men now and she still has the tree ornaments the boys made and christmas stockings she made and puts them out every year...take care lovely lady..

Beautiful home Rosie, gorgeous decorations, and yes while they might be on the expensive side, you're just sharing what's out there on the other end of the price scale for investments pieces that could be re-used for years to come. No one could accuse you of flaunting your wealth or similar nonsense, most of your content is usually on how to create high end feels with out the price tag! or fantastic hauls from affordable high Street brands etc Don't let anyone make you feel bad for being lucky enough to have these nice things, it's obvious you and Gary have worked hard to have the beautiful home you have, and anyone who watches your content regularly knows you are incredibly down to earth and kind person! You're not responsible for the worlds problems Rosie or how people respond to your content you always try to be mindful of your viewers feelings, how many vids I have watched and you feel you have to put out disclaimers or apologies etc, you can't please everyone, sorry for the long message but I just felt I had to say that, because you don't deserve to be made to feel guilty because a Christmas tree is expensive?! you aren't hard selling them to us lol 😂 Any way love your content please keep it coming, and thanks for your joanies haul video, I had never heard if them but have now ordered my Christmas day dress from there after struggling to find something I liked from my usual shops! x

Everything looks beautiful. Im not quite sure how much children appreciate "woodland ". I usually associate children and Christmas with tinsel, coloured lights,colourful Christmas. Just my opinion as a mother and grandmother. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

I completely agree hun, we do traditional in our lounge which feels more cosy and festive. And their bedrooms is tinsel galore and any mix match baubles they love and cheesy patterned bedsheets it makes them so happy bless them xx

Congrats on reaching a massive sub goal Rosie! .. so happy balsam hill reached out to collaborate, they are a fantastic company and their trees are so realistic and so easy to put up. I took the plunge a few years ago and purchased a frosted Frasier fir one and it’s beautiful. I managed to save a small fortune by getting it on their pre Christmas sales which they seem to do every year. To anyone thinking of buying one take the plunge you won’t regret it, yes they are pricey but they are totally worth it! Mine still looks as good as the day I took it out of the box!

Rosie can I recommend wired ribbon for your Christmas bows. I use wired Red ribbon the make bows for my Christmas tree but it would work equally well with your stair garland. Thanks to the wire the bows really hold their shape

Your tree looks lovely. I could never justify spending the Balsom prices, especially as it's only me and my Husband at home now. I bought my best tree for Christmas 1980 and it cost me £20. I just looked that up in today's money and it would cost £101 and I'd never pay that today. I've still got it but haven't put it up for years.

That’s a very expensive Christmas tree, times are very hard. Unfortunately some little ones won’t even get a tree up or any presents. You are lucky to have so much stuff gifted

I’m very lucky, and I am very grateful too. I completely understand times are hard for so many. And many little ones will miss out which is really heartbreaking. I try to do my bit to help them by donating to all the local charities that give gifts to those children and send food parcels. You just feel abit lost as to what else to do don’t you. It’s very hard to see xxx

Sorry Rosie I meant to answer you earlier. I wasn’t having a go at you, I recently thought about getting a new tree as ours is very old and was shocked to see how expensive they are. Your tips, tricks and general know how are brilliant. You are so very talented and the ideas you have are genius. So I’m really sorry if I upset you in any way. Like you I do wonder how people on a very tight budget afford all the stuff so your videos are most welcome. We have 5 children all grown up with families of their own and have had some very hard times. I was quite good at crafting, sewing, knitting, crochet etc so they all did well at not missing out. I would have loved having someone like you showing me how to craft the stuff you do. I’m creative but not in your league. Kindest Regards Pauline x
